How could I have done this to her? How could I have put this beautiful girl in the hospital bed next me? I know I was mad but I should've held myself back, I shouldn't have tried to charge at Kian while she was standing between us. I'm such a fuck up.
I look over at Kristen who has been lying in that stupid hospital bed for almost twenty-four hours. How come she hasn't woken up yet? I need her to wake up. The doctors said it was a concussion and internal bleeding in her stomach but they said they fixed it. She went through surgery so they could fix this.
How could Kian and I be so stupid? He meant to swing his punch at me, not at the back of her head. I meant to kick Kian, not Kris in the stomach. I left with nothing besides a few bruises and Kian left with a fractured hand. But somehow in just a matter of seconds Kristen had it worse than both of us, so now she lies here, unconscious.
"You know you should go home, shower maybe, eat something," the doctor suggests as he enters into the small hospital room.
"No, I'm not leaving until she wakes up," I calmly state.
"You know that might not be for a while. The trauma to her head is causing her body to stay asleep and having surgery to stop internal bleeding isn't helping. It could be weeks," the doctor tells me, but I don't care. I'm staying.
"That's okay, I'll wait," I assure him and he leaves the room without another word.
Kristen needs to wake up soon. I'll never forgive myself for this. If I hadn't been such an idiot she wouldn't be here. I didn't even know I had the strength to make someone unconscious, let alone for days.
I shouldn't be joking about this right now. I can't be. I owe it to her to be miserable. That might not make any sense to anybody else but it makes all the fucking sense in the world to me.
"Kris," I say as I grab her hand. "I need you to wake up, please. You need to wake up."
I'm so pathetic. I did this to her I cant ask her for shit. Even if it is to save her own life.
"Oh my god," I hear a familiar voice say behind me. I turn around to see Kristen's mother behind me and a moment later I see her father enter in behind her.
"Hello Georgia, Ben," I say as they walk next to their beloved daughter.
"Get out," Georgia whispers without looking at me.
"What?" I ask, the confusion clear in my voice.
"You did this to her, you put her here. So get out!" Georgina hisses, her voice gradually getting louder.
"Please, it was an accident. I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't mean for any of this to happen," I try to explain.
"I don't care what you meant to happen. I care about what actually happened. I knew from the day I met you, you weren't good enough for her. I knew that you would break her heart, I knew that nothing good would come out of you two being together. Now leave," she tells me with her cold eyes glaring at me.
"No," I calmly state and sit back down.
"No?" She questions.
"No," I repeat. "I have just as much of a right to be here as you do."
"Actually you don't. I can get an employee right now and get you out of this room or you can leave yourself, your choice," she tells me, and before I have a chance to respond a warm, sweet voice interrupts.
"No," I hear Kristen say and everyone turns around. "Please don't make him leave," she continues as her eyes flutter closed.
"Kris come on, stay up," I tell her as I kneel by the side of her bed and take her hand.
"Come on Kris!" I cry as I squeeze her hand a little bit harder.
"I'm going to go get a doctor and tell him that she woke up," Kristen's dad dismisses himself.
"Jack, go," Georgina tells me.
"Please let me stay," I beg.
"If you aren't gone by the time Ben gets back with the doctor I'll have the hospital escort you out," she threatens.
"Goodbye Kris, I'll be back soon. I love you," I whisper to Kristen as I give her a kiss on her forehead before leaving the room.

"So she just kicked you out?" Jc questions from across the living room.
"Yeah," I sigh as I flip through the channels. "Nothing good's on TV, I think I'm going to go upstairs."
"No, come on. The past few days have been so boring," Jc moans.
"Boring?" I half laugh.
"Well you know what I mean. Come on, let's hang out a while," Jc begs. "It'll get your mind off of Kristen.
"Ugh, fine," I give in.
"Great, so what do you want to do?" Jc excitedly asks.
"I don't know, watch TV?" I suggest.
"You just said there wasn't anything good on TV," he argues and even though he's right I really don't feel like getting up.
"Well do you have any bright ideas?" I sarcastically respond.
"We could go to Spin," Jc teases.
"Ha-ha. Very funny, do you have any actual ideas?"
"No, like I said before, I don't do much," Jc explains.
"Maybe that's why you're so bored all the time," I tease back.
"Whatever, let's just watched Americas Next Top Model," Jc says.
"That show is shit," I laugh.
"Yeah, but the girls are hot," Jc says and I roll my eyes.
"What would Jenn say if she knew you said that?" I smirk.
"Nothing, we always say other people are hot. It's just a fact," Jc states with a stupid grin plastered across his face.
"Whatever," I huff and click on Americas Next Top Model.
