The New Girl

The New Girl-Chapter Six

Sry it took so long to update! with school and then Easter I've been very busy! But I hope you enjoy!

We hopped onto Lucky and ran as fast as he could go.
By the time that we reached the hideout I was in tears. And I mean like full out hysterics! My face was red, my eyes were puffy, and my shirt was damp from crying. I quickly hopped off of Lucky ran to my room and locked the door. (That's one way to give the rest of the gang an idea of how the date went, yikes!)
"Lizzy what's wrong? She was just trying to scare us! It's ok, there's nothing to be afraid of!" Eli said through the other side of the door.
"You don't understand, I know who that was Eli!"
"Ok well come out here please so you can explain." Eli pleaded now.

I unlocked the door and wrapped my arms around Eli's neck, crying into his shoulder. I really needed to calm down but it was hard. Eli hugged me back and it was so good to feel safe in his arms. We let go of each other and walked into the living room.
"So who was that?" Eli asked me.
"It..it..it was Aleah, Aleah Gates." I finally managed to say.
"You mean your friend Aleah Gates who disappeared about a year ago?" Eli asked, the words getting caught a bit.
"Yeah. How did she find this place? Why was she here? Is she part of a gang or riding solo?" I said in a panic.
"Woah calm down, we don't know anything either, but we'll find out." Eli reassured.
"A mystery? I've got to film this! It will be the latest story on the Slug Net!" Trixie said excitedly.
"How about we start our hunt in the morning because I need some sleep and I bet Lizzy does too after a long day." Kord asked.
"Good idea, we'll start our search tomorrow, try an get some answers. Good night everyone." Eli said.

In the morning me and Eli headed out to search the meadow where we saw Aleah. There we found a card that said 'The Gates Gang' on the back.
"The Gates Gang?" Eli asked.
"She has her own gang here?!"
"I guess so?" Eli replied.
"Lets find out where she's hiding and who else is in this gang of hers!"
"Ok but we have to lay low, we don't want to cause any trouble." Eli demanded.
"Oh but you already have caused trouble, for yourselves that is!" a voice said from behind us.

We turned around to see two unfamiliar faces and one that I knew all to well. Ten feet away stood Aleah Gates with who I assumed was her gang.
"So you must be the Shane and this must be your sad excuse for a girlfriend." Aleah Gates said, blaster pointed straight at my head.
Eli went to step in front of me but I stopped him.
"And you must be the ass who abandoned her best friend and they must be your sad excuses for replacements!" I snapped back.
"Damn! I guess you are more then just a pretty face, you're a snob too!" Aleah said , walking closer now.
"Hey knock it off! What do you want?" Eli stepped in.
"I want your 'girlfriend' dead for what she did to me!" Aleah yelled at us.
"What are you talking about?" I asked her.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, don't play dumb princess for your boyfriend! You're the jerk that helped take James away from me, then you turned around and hooked up with him! Not to mention you took Star, my best friend from childhood, away from me too! Then to top it all off, just before I left that town, you humiliated me in front of the whole city! Telling me I was Flower Queen in the parade, making me go up in front of everybody, then standing up and shouting hey look, it's the wanna be new girl!"
"Ya I did all that and you deserved it too! You treated James and Star like crap! I'm surprised they stayed with you for as long as they did! I treated them like gold compared to you! Ya I hooked up with James, he asked me after we went to prom together just as friends. Star is and always will be my best friend, not yours! And as soon as I can, I'm bringing her down here, to show her the ugly monster you've become, inside and out! Plus everybody already knew that you were the wanna be new girl, I just emphasized it!"

All of a sudden everything went blurry. The next thing I knew, I was in Eli's arms and I saw The Gates Gang run off. Then I blacked out.
