The New Girl-Chapter Three

Short chapter but I hope you like it!

Here slug slug slug! I muttered to myself as I hopelessly walked around looking for slugs. "Geez! Where the heck could these little guys be?" I asked Eli.
"They're everywhere they just need to be found!" That helps.

As I continued on my slug hunt I heard a little squeak. "Hey, Scorch did you hear that?" She nodded in agreement.
'Squeak'
"There it is again!" Scorch looked around and spotted a slug flying above us, slowly coming to the ground. Scorch jumped up and down on my shoulder to get my attention.
"Great job Scorch!"

I stuck out my hands as the flying slug landed in them. "Hey there, what kind of slug are you?
"That's a Hoverbug slug! Good job Lizzy, you caught one!" Trixie said from behind me.
The Hoverbug curled in a ball in my hand and hid it's face.
"It must be shy. Scorch, is it a boy or a girl?"
Scorch pointed to herself saying that it was a girl.
"Hey there, it's ok you don't need to be scared. Can I give you a name?"
I asked the little Hoverbug. She looked up at me now standing straight in my hand and flapped her wings excitedly. "How about, Fluttershy?!" She jumped up into the air and did a spin telling me that she liked it!

After I found Fluttershy, I found another three slugs. A Dirt Urchin that I named Spike, a Tazerling that I named Bolt, and finally a Thugglet slug that I named Tricks. That leaves me with and arsenal of five awesome slugs!

"I'm so happy that I actually caught some slugs!" I basically squealed.
"I knew you had it in you, you just needed some guidance, from Pronto!" Pronto said proudly.
"So lets see what slugs you have!" Trixie said.

"Ok I have Scorch, Fluttershy, Spike, Bolt, and Tricks!"
"Nice! you even caught a Thugglet slug!" Eli said obviously impressed.
"I know! I'm so happy! So when do we start slugslinging?" I asked Eli my anxiousness showing.
"We can start training soon, first you should get to know your slugs a little more." Eli explained.
"And it's getting late, so we should probably get some sleep." Kord mentioned.
"Yeah, let's get to bed, night everyone!" Trixie said walking to her room. "
"Ok, I'll see you guys in the morning!" I said to my new friends.
"Night Lizzy, you did great today!" Eli said giving me a wink.
He just winked at me! Scorch, still rested on my shoulder looked at me and pretended to be in love.
"Oh shush! I can't help it Scorch! He's cute, end of story!"
