I sleep in a guess room that actually had an normal sized bed thankfully. I sleep straight until morning exhausted from walking, I wake up to the smell of something that smells really good. I walk to where the kitchen is and see Kurt making breakfast.
"Morning" I greet him
He turns around and gives me a smile "well good morning. You hungry?" He asks
"Uh yeah" I say like duh
He smirks and gives me a plate that kind of looks like it could be pancakes but they are pink. "It's good" he playfully rolls my eyes
He sits across from me and we eat are breakfast together, just as we both finish we hear a noise.
Kurt immediately gets up and grabs the sword and walks into the next room me behind him, I see his tense shoulders relax and he breathes a sigh of relief "rabbit"
I look over his shoulder and look down and see an actual rabbit standing on his back legs and wearing clothes.
"Is that you Alice?" The rabbit says as he adjusts his glasses
"Um yeah I'm Alice" I stutter a little still in shock of a talking rabbit
"You're all grown up" he smiles at me and I still don't know what to say
"She's still getting used to everything" Kurt says since I'm still just staring
"I'm sure it's a lot to take in especially being in a no magic realm" he nods understanding
"Where have you been?" Kurt asks him
Rabbit sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose "a friend of mine needed some help his village got destroyed"
"What happened?" I finally speak
He looks at me with sad eyes "the red queen" is all he says
"Does she know Alice is here?" Kurt asks him
"She doesn't know for sure but I suspect she does" rabbit says "let's sit" rabbit says as he sits in a loveseat and me and Kurt sit on the floor
"How was the journey?" Rabbit asks us
"A breeze" Kurt scoffs and I roll my eyes
"If you call almost dying a couple of times a breeze" I say
Rabbit chuckles a little "I've missed you Alice"
"Kurt tells me you were my teacher" I say making conversation
He smiles sadly " I was"
"He also said you were going to help me remember" I say to the rabbit
He looks at me then Kurt.
"What?" Kurt says not liking the look on rabbits face
"I couldn't get my hands on the potion" the Rabbit says in defeat
"I thought you found someone who had the bottle in there possession" Kurt says a little annoyed
"I did but the red queens knights got to him first I barely escaped "
"What now?" I can't help but ask
"We are sorta making this up as we go along" Kurt says running a hand through his hair
"What about true loves kiss?" Rabbit suggest
"Already tried " Kurt tells him a little embarrassed
"Is it important that I remember?" I ask them
They look at each other and finally the rabbit starts talking "not important per say but it would of helped in some ways and you would of been you again"
"I'm okay with the me now so what's plan b?" I raise an eyebrow
