Me and Kurt go into the rabbits background which is more like his garden if anything, but at least it's covered so no one can see us.
"Aways pay attention to your surroundings" Kurt says first
"Got it" I nod don't get distracted Ali!
"And pay attention to their movements that's how you'll find there weak point sometime they favor their left side or right"
"How am I going to notice all that when they are trying to kill me?" I ask
"It'll come second nature trust me?" He say like he's had a lot of practice
"Let me show you how to hold the sword" he say as he gets behind me and puts the sword in my hand, I try not to think about how close we are, thankfully he can't see the blush growing on my face.
I grab the sword with my right hand and tighten my grip "just like this" he says making sure my hands are in the right place and shows me how to move it and to block
"The swords heavy" I say getting tired
"You carried it for miles in the dark forest you can last a little longer" he laughs
"I don't think I could hurt someone" I say all of a sudden
He walks in front of me and give me a sad smile which is not what I expected him to do I expect a joke or something. "I know I don't want you to have to live with that if you had too, but sometimes when it's either them or you, you have to do everything to survive another day because trust me they won't hesitate and they won't feel guilty about it"
"I know" I say as I look down at my feet not being able to look him in the eye
He softly grabs my chin and lift it up so we are looking each other in the eye, he gives me a side smile that almost makes me want to smile just looking at it. "Your one of the good ones Alice and don't ever feel bad that you still have a pure heart" he says softly and staring at me deeply
"Your good too" I can't help but tell him
He laughs humorlessly "I wish that was so"
I take him by surprise and hug him, needing a hug and knowing he probably needs one too. He's shocked at first but slowly puts his arms around me.
