"Well, yes Enzo. That usually happens when you're pregnant, it's the baby." I answer sarcastically.
I had a small bump by now, almost not noticeable, unless you looked twice.
"I'm only kidding, Rem. You look great, you know that." He pats my shoulder.
"If you tell me I look bloated when I'm pregnant one day, that's the last time you'll see the bed and our couch will be your new best friend." Says Tahia.
She was Enzo's newly found other half.
Yes, that's right. Enzo's mate.
I think Alice was more shocked when it happened than when she first learned about me, which just really says a lot. I agreed with her on that one though, Lorenzo was one special individual.
Tahia was a beautiful girl, coming from a friendly pack. She was a medium rank, with olive skin that looked amazing with her dark brown hair. She had as much of an attitude as Lorenzo did, however, probably even more which is what I loved her for. She always kept him on his toes and under her control and Enzo needed a bit of that.
I was happy for them both.
Everyone was finding their mate, and the only person left as a single man was only Alexander, really. His mindset about having a mate never changed though, no matter what I told him. He didn't want to look for her.
"Are you confessing something right now, Tahia?" I tease.
"There's nothing to confess, Enzo knows how I feel about starting a family." She grins back at me, while Enzo rolled his eyes.
Despite his usual cocky remarks and a smart mouth, he really has changed for the better. It was all after finding his mate; it's what it did to people. I wish Alex could see that.
"Alice is just the same. I think she already has like five baby names picked out." I laugh.
"Garrett will have a lot of work to do." Enzo comments. Under the layer of the changed Lorenzo, the original him was still there, trust me.
"As will you by the looks of it." I can't help but answer back.
"Do you know the gender of your baby yet, Remi?" Asks Tahia. I'm sure she desperately wanted to change the subject after I've just embarrassed both of them.
"Yes." I smile at her. "We are going to be having a boy."
Daniel was obviously overjoyed when I first told him. He said he didn't mind what gender the baby will be, because he's blessed either way, but I knew that deep down he wanted a boy that he could teach all his Alpha traits. He would have if we had a girl too, I'm sure of it, but knowing he already has an heir of his title was making him proud.
Our relationship has never been stronger, and my love for Daniel was always growing. It's a feeling I've never known of before.
