Quick authors note, you all need to watch this. I'm crying.

Emma’s P.O.V.
It was around six thirty when my phone went off. It was a text from Alex. Hey, I’m a bit early, but I figured you would like to get a head start on our date. I’m out front. I read with a faint smile. He is such a dork sometimes, but his warm heart and genuine kindness makes up for it. Slipping my shoes on, I grabbed a purse for Tikki to hide in while I was on my date.

“Just be careful, Mar- I mean Emma.” Tikki whispered before flying into my purse. What name was she about to say? It sounded like the start of mother's name. I thought as I walked down the ladder and down the stairs to meet Alex. I hope everything goes alright tonight. I really do.

“Good evening, Josephine.” Alex gave a small bow as soon as I walked out the door. “Hello, Alex.” I could feel myself trying not to blush. He was the only one that could get me to blush, even the faintest bit. “Shall we begin our date?” He pulled out a single red rose from behind his back. “Of course we shall.” I smiled, taking the rose. He smiled and straightened, walking around the corner.

-half hour later-

“Alex...We have been walking for a half hour now. Are we here yet?” I sighed. “Yup, here we are.” He pointed to a secret path that revealed a candlelit dinner in a park. “Oh Alex….it’s beautiful.” I hugged him quickly before realizing that was not very ladylike of me. He just chuckled and walked into the park. “I thought you might like it.” He smiled. “I love it.” I felt a blush sweep across my face.

It wasn’t five minutes in before we were rudely interrupted by an obnoxiously loud crash coming from twenty feet away from us. At least that’s what it sounded like. “I...uh...I will be right back…” I ran out of view as quickly as possible, knowing that he can’t see me when I transform.

“Emma, I think that was an akuma.” Tikki popped out of my purse. “A what? You never explained that one to me.” I looked at her. “Right, well….it’s a bit difficult to explain right now. Just transform and trust your instincts, okay?” Tikki tried to smile. “Okay. Spots on.” The transformation was a lot quicker than I thought it would be. Wow is this thing skin tight. I thought as I looked down at my now suited body. I looked like an actual ladybug. I had spots all over my suit.

“Okay….now to find the akuma. Wherever that is…” I sighed, walking out of my hiding spot in search of it. On my way, I literally ran into someone. “Are you alright, bug?” The voice asked. It sounded familiar, but I couldn’t place it. “Yes, I am fine.” I stood up, brushing myself off. “Who are you?” A boy in a leather catsuit with ears and a tail asked.

“Uh...me? I am Ladybug. Who are you?” I gave him a look of faint ‘annoyance’. “I’m...Chat Noir.” He hesitated for only a second. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Chat Noir. If you will excuse me, I have an akuma to find and purify.” I ran off once again.

Chat Noir’s P.O.V.
So that’s my partner in all of this. Interesting. I smiled slightly as I ran after her. “Hey, Ladybug! Wait for me!” I shouted after her, trying to catch up to her. “Chat Noir? What are you doing?” She stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face me. Catching up to her, I smiled. “I thought you could use some help. Fur-tunate fur you, a certain black cat is here to do just that.” I smiled.

“Did you just...make two cat puns? In a row?” She half glared while trying not to laugh. “Yup. Now let’s go catch that akuma!” I charged off without thinking. “Chat! Slow down!” I heard Ladybug far behind me. “Sorry, Ladybug.” I smiled once she caught up to me. “Let us stick together.” She set a hald on my shoulder. She was so calm about all of this.

-after the fight-

“Are you alright, my lady?” The words came out faster than I was able to process them. “Y-yes.” She hesitated for a moment. She didn’t appear to be injured, but she did get slammed into a brick wall. “Are you sure? Would you like me to take you home?” I offered, seeing that she was in a bit of pain. “Thank you Chat, but I will be alright. Go ahead and go home.” She gave a weak smile. I nodded quickly before dashing off.

Emma’s P.O.V.
My back hurt like crazy and my head was throbbing. My transformation wore off as a bright light surrounded my body. “Are you alright, Emma? That akuma put up a good fight.” Tikki looked genuinely concerned and tired. “I will be alright, Tikki. I believe we should get back to feed you.” I sighed.

“You’re right. You should start talking more informal than you are. People will start to catch on to your secret.” Tikki warned me. “How I would be able to do that?” I looked at her, concern and confusion filling my voice. “Just focus on how others talk and try to copy them.” She sat down on my shoulder. “I shall try.” I sighed as I looked up at the moon.

Rushing back to the park where Alex and I were, I noticed that he was sitting there with a slight blush on his face. “Uh..h-hello? Alex?” I waved a hand in front of his face. “Huh? Oh! Sorry, Josie.” Alex looked surprised. “Are you alright?” I sat down once again. “Y-yeah...just lost in thought.” It almost seemed as though he was lying to a small degree.

“Are you sure you are alright?” I stared at him intently, hoping that he would eventually give in and tell me the truth. “Yeah, I’m fine.” He sighed, unable to meet my gaze. “Alex, are you trying to lie to me? If you are, you are very horrible at it.” My voice gained a tinge of anger as I spoke.

“I’m sorry, Josephine, but I can’t tell you.” He looked down at the ground, almost sadly. “It is alright. I understand.” I let out a quiet sigh as I too turned my gaze to the ground.
