Alex's P.O.V.
"Hey, are you alright?" I looked over at a seemingly worried Josephine. "Huh? Uh...yeah...I just...have something to tell you." She sounded hesitant as if she didn't want to tell me. "What is it? Is something wrong?" My voice trembled in slight fear. "I will be going home either tonight or tomorrow morning..." Her voice made it sound as if she wanted to cry. "You're going back to China?" I looked intensely at her slim figure.

"Yes." Was all that was said before she stood. "Josie....I-I'll wait for you." The words flew out of my mouth before I could stop them. "That would be the problem at hand, Alex. I may not be coming back. That is why I wish of you to go with me." She finally turned to look at me, her eyes full of an unspoken and a barely tamed fire.

"I will stay by your side no matter what." I stood up, taking both of her hands in mine. "Thank you, Alex. There is one other thing you must know about me...in case you may change your mind after I tell you this." She looked away once more. "I will love you no matter what it is. Just tell me." A slight pang hit me as I said that.

She stayed silent for a few moments before looking at me with an intensity I've never seen from her. "Alex, I am not who you believe I am. I am the daughter of King Adrien and Queen Marinette Agreste. My name is also not what I have told you it was...." She sighed, almost hesitant to tell me what her real name is. "What are you getting at?" I looked at her, concerned. She was either telling the truth or she has lost her mind.

"My real name is Emma Agreste, the crown princess of China. My mother is sending a private jet to collect me. I ask of you to go with me in case I cannot return to Paris." She glanced up at me before completely turning away from me. "Did you really think that something like this would change how I feel about you?" I set a hand on her shoulder gently.

"I did not know how this would affect you." She looked at me once again. "It doesn't affect me at all. I will always be with you, no matter what. I will remind you of that every day if I have to." I looked deeply into her eyes. "I was simply stating what I was thinking." She went back to the formal way of speaking. The same was it had been when I first met her. Back when she was cold towards me.

"I know...but still. Nothing can change my feelings for you. I love you for who you are, not your title." Hugging her tightly, I felt her begin to relax a bit. For the first time tonight. "Will you be accompanying me on my journey home then?" She hugged me back. "Yes, I will go with you." I smiled into her hair. "Then we should both return to our houses and begin packing. I shall call you later." Pushing away, she smiled.

"Just be careful, baby." I gave a soft smile. "Yes, dear." She smirked mockingly. God she will be the death of me. I thought as I watched her walk away. Sighing, I returned home myself, much to my parents' surprise. This was going to end in a lecture and I know it.
