The Life I Never Knew

Chapter 6

Leela's POV

"Hey Caleb! Where's my coffee?"

"It's right here your majesty!" He said quickly handing it over to me. He was about to walk away when I stopped him.

"Not so fast servant! You forgot something." I said with narrowed eyes.

"Oh right!" He then bowed his head.

"Good. Now you may leave." I said waving my hand dismissing him. He left mumbling to himself. I laughed and sat comfortably on my chair in the backyard of the pack house.

Yup! You heard right! Pack House!

My dad brought me here after our little encounter at home. He wanted to show me all the ins an outs of being a werewolf. He even had me read some books about our history and taught me how to shift. My wolf is huge! Almost as big as my dad and he has the biggest wolf. His is black with piercing yellow eyes and mine has snow white fur and bright light purple eyes.

On the more awkward side, my dad even talked to me about mates. I practically figured that out from when my dad talked about my so called 'mom'. Mates are supposed to love and cherish each other. Something my mom did not do and it hurt my dad. I hope my mate does not do something so stupid like that. I really wish my dad could have another mate. Like a better one. I've read about those. They are called 'second chance mate'. And they are very rare. I asked him about it and he said that he doesn't want one and that he doesn't need one. That he's very happy with only having me and seeing my happiness.

Anyway back to the present! I am currently sitting her as I mentioned earlier, but I am not alone! I have the famous David, winner of that (stupid) bet, sitting right next to me. Also I have Chase and Aiden massaging my feet and legs, and even though David wasn't the one who was suppose to be pampered, I made sure he was. I mean come on I don't wanna be alone on this. Plus he deserves it. Mainly because he has a brain when the others don't. So Chance and Caleb are now massaging his feet while his dorky twin brother Daniel is serving him.

Yup! Life is good!

Oh! By the way, they also showed me their wolfs too and they told that they were my bodyguards! At first I was hurt thinking that, that was the only reason why they were friends with me in the first place. But they proved me wrong saying that they have alway been there for me and that they have loved every second of being my friends. And that they won't stop. I love these guys a lot! I so happy to have them in my life. Also, Aiden told me about the guy who owns the pizza place, Jax, is his mate. And that they have been together for 1 year. Aww too cute! Now I can tease him all the time about it.

At least I know now why no one wanted me to be in a relationship. They all want me to wait for my mate. Speaking of which,

"Hey guys, how will I know who my mate is? I mean I know how, it's just when will I see him?" They all looked at each other as if they know something. What are they hiding?

"Well you will get that curtain sent and that smell will be the most amazing smell ever. And only you can smell it." Replied Aiden with a sweet smile. I bet he's remembering how he smelt out his mate.

"Okay. But, what will it smell like?" I asked.

"It could really be anything but, you won't be able get enough of it." Aiden now had a dreamy smile and the others get him a soft smile.

"Wow. I can't wait to meet my mate." I said dreaming about how it would feel to finally have someone to call mine.

Logan's POV

The delicious smell of strawberries and chocolate. Nutella chocolate actually.

That's what my mate smells like.
