The Life I Never Knew

Chapter 11

"Thanks for tonight, Logan. I had a great time." After we all found out about my first power, Logan suggested that we celebrate! He took me to this amazing Italian restaurant and the food was amazing! We are now walking around the city hand in hand. After all that food we ate, we need the exercise.

"Your welcome, Leela. I would love to take you out again if you want?" He asks shyly.

"Logan, are you asking me out on a date again?" It is so much fun to tease him and see him blush too. Although, this time it didn't work. He wrapped his right arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.

"I will always ask you on a date and always make it a memorable each time." He says in a serious tone. He put his left hand on my face and brushed his thumb on my cheek. Then moved it to the back of my neck and pulled me closer so that our lips are touching. Immediately I feel the sparks running through my body and even Aleena is jumping with joy of having this affection with our mate.

Just when the kiss was about to go even deeper, we hear a howl. That makes us pull apart and listen. After the first howl, it became multiple howls. Meaning something was wrong. We look at each other and made a run to the car. Once in, Logan speeded straight for home. Logan turned into the forest which made the road a little bumpy. My ears then picked up the sound of rapid steps meaning we are being followed. I look out the window to see about 6 wolves on either side of the car.

"Don't worry, they are the guards. They have been with us since we left earlier." Logan said keeping an eye on the road. Damn he's hot when he's serious or angry for the matter. His eyes suddenly turn black and he tightens his hands on the steering wheel where his knuckles turn white. "Leela, please keep your thoughts to yourself unless you want me to take you right here right now." he said in a deep voice that sends shivers down my spine.

We finally made it home and we rush out of the car and head towards my fathers office. But right before we get there, Logan pulls me into one of the spare rooms on the ground floor and slams it shut with my back against it. Before I time to think he plants his lips on mine. His kisses were quick and rough meaning his wolf is in control. I let him kiss me for a little longer then push him gently away. Once we parted, we both are panting hard and I can tell that Logan is calming his wolf down. Our foreheads leaned against each other and then I felt his emotions, and the first one I'm hit with is guilt. I cup his face with my hands to make him look at me.

"Why are feeling so guilty? I loved everything about the kiss."

"I feel as if I've gone a little too far. Please forgive me, Leela!" He says holding onto my hands and kissing each of them.

"Logan, there is nothing to forgive because you haven't done anything wrong. I loved it. All of it." That helped him calm down a bit and gave me a soft smile, which I did in return.

"Thank you Leela." He says giving me one last kiss and grabbed my hand, "Come on. We need to see what's going on." I nod at him and he leads me out of the room, to my fathers office.

When we get in, we see everyone already there and I also spot a smirking Angel sitting in between Chase and Chance who are looking at her like she is some goddess. I need to talk to her about that by the way. I ignore her smirking and look to my dad who is busy looking through the papers at his desk.

"Daddy?" I caught his attention and he smiled but then it went away quick as he started glaring at Logan. "Daddy? What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Logan I would appreciated if you would not mark my daughter with all those spots." he says seriously.

Wait! What spots?

As soon as I thought of that, Sorrina starts busting out laughing as if she just saw an episode of the funniest home video. I look at her like she's crazy, but then Aiden starts laughing as well as Caleb.

"Um..... what's so funny?" I asked everyone. No one said anything so I looked to Logan who is staring at, not my face, but my neck.

After Sorrina calmed down a little, she came up to me and snapped her fingers. A mirror appeared right in front of me and then that's when I noticed the spots my dad was talking about. I put my hand to my neck to feel them. How the hell did Logan give me hickeys?

I looked back at Logan and he had a smirk on his face as if he's proud of his work. I glared at him and that took that smirk right off his face. A clear of throat brought us out of our moment.

"Back the matter at hand. We spotted rogues on the east side of the property." My father says.

Immediately the whole room goes into silence and we all get serious. Rogues are wolfs who were either in a pack and got kicked out or they were born that way. They are dangerous and will kill anything in sight.

"How many Sire?" David asks. I don't think I've ever these boys talk so seriously. Kind of scary.

"About 200." What? 200? Why the hell is my dad acting so calm about this?! Just when I'm about to argue, I feel a hand go around my waist and pulling me closer to the one person I'm still mad at for giving me all these 'spots', as my dad put it. But still, calmed me down about the rogue situation.

Leela, the reason he isn't panicking, is because 200 rogues is nothing compared to the 2,000 rogue war that happened many years ago. So just relax. Your father will take car of everything.

Okay, so that helped a lot. hearing him and feeling him hold me is good enough to calm me down.

Alright. But you are still going to get it for putting all these hickeys all over my neck. I say to him. Right now it looks like we are just holding each other and nothing is wrong. But, in my head I'm plotting revenge.

"Alright everyone! I just wanted to update you all on everything that's happening. So, you may all have a good night and I'll see you in the morning!" My dad says happily. I guess we missed the whole conversation on how the rogues were handled. Oh Well!
