"Wait! Aren't there second-chance mates?" I asked my father.

"Yes there are. But only rarely it happens. It only happens to those who deserve them." He answered back.

"Okay so how did my 'mother' become Uncle Jackson's mate? He said he felt the sparks and everything but you just said that they aren't mates?" I am so lost right now.

"Leela, they aren't mates because Melissa is a fake mate."

Okay........ still lost people!

"Leela it's obvious that he's under a spell." Daniel said as if he had all the answers.

"I'm under a spell?"

"OH MY GODDESS!", Angel says startling us all, "YOUR SO CALLED 'MOTHER' PUT JACKSON UNDER A SPELL SO THAT SHE CAN HAVE HIM AS HER MATE! BUT NOT REALIZING THAT HE WANTED A CHILD BECAUSE NORMALLY ROGUES CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN, YET BECAUSE HE HAS ROYAL BLOOD, HE CAN. NOW JACKSON WANTS A CHILD BUT YOUR MOTHER HATES CHILDREN SO SHE SAID NO! ALL SHE WANTS IS ATTENTION! WHAT A SELFISH BITCH!"

As soon she was done she took a deep breath and realized that she wasn't supposed to say anything. We were all silent for a while until Caleb broke it.

"Wow. That pretty much covers it all." He said.

"Well honestly, I wasn't aware of the fact that she put a spell on me. I mean I understood the fake mate but really? She's that desperate for attention? And apparently she didn't do her homework right because even if I wasn't related to royal but still be King, then I could still give her a child. And I really want children in my life it would be nice." Uncle Jackson says sadly.

I feel bad for him. He really doesn't deserve this torture. He needs a real mate. One that will love him unconditionally. As I think of that I look towards my mate to see him already staring at me with loving eyes. I give him a small smile and he returns it.

"Jackson, has she said or done anything odd while she was with you?" David asks.

"Well, when our subjects come to seek help from us, she is usually willing. Except for, now that I think about it, she only helps those with no children. If she sees them, she immediately dismisses them without even listening. And when I ask her why she says "they need to learn to work for themselves" or something like that." He says looking deep in thought.

"So you basically dismissed all the children that need help?" David asks.

"Oh Goddess, no! I went and helped those children myself. Without her knowing, of course." Uncle Jackson replied.

"I'm still trying to figure out why she hates children so much." Asked Chase.

I looked at my father and knew he was thinking the same thing.

"She hates them because of me." I said sadly. Logan came and put his arms around me for comfort.

"Why do you say that my dear?" He asked. I looked to my dad and he decided to tell the story he told me about my mother.

Once he finished with the story, everyone was either shocked or annoyed by my mother's stupidity.

"Wow I have never seen or heard of such ignorance." Uncle Jackson said. We all agreed with him. It was rather stupid of her.

"Well now we have to figure out what she is really after. Considering she is putting everyone under her spell so that she can get what she wants. Whatever it is. And speaking of which, Jake are you sure she was your mate to begin with? Or did she put you under a spell too?" He asked my father.

Everyone became curious about this. Maybe it's true, she isn't my dads' mate? If not that who is?

"Actually that's a very smart question. However, I do know that she is my mate because I did a complete background check on her with that help of Noah of course. And she was a young girl very genuine and kind. She was going to school got straight A's and graduated college early. She literally had everything in her to be an amazing Queen. She never had past boyfriends saying she was waiting for her mate. And was always that quiet and shy girl of the school. And I knew all of this before I even met her in person. After I had found her, I waiting 2 years till she could smell me as her mate." He said.

"So she really is or was your mate?" Asked Caleb.

My father nodded in confirmation.

"Well shit, now what?" Aiden asked.

"Jackson you alright?" My dad asked him.

"There is someone in my home and by the scent of it, it's a women about Leela's age and she is with Marissa."

"Whoa! You can smell her from here?" Asked Caleb.

"All of those with extreme high power can scent out anything in their home or in this case Kingdom, even if they were on the other side of the world." Angel said.

"Yes now, I must head home. My guards have already taken her to the dungeons." he looked out of space again, then turned to look at my father, "Her scent is from here. She's a new rogue from your territory."

I low angry growl came from Logan. We all turn to him and what he says surprises us all.

"Fucking Tiffany!"
