"I don't feel comfortable taking Maiz out to the villages just yet, she is still too little for my liking," Lucifer mutters as Ace finishes dressing the growing infant.
"Where will she go then?" Ace wonders. Ace is not sure he wants anyone watching Maiz besides himself and Lucifer.
"She can stay with Sage," Lucifer replies.
"Oh, okay," Ace is all right with Sage, he's just a little strange.
"She'll be fine with Sage until we get back," Lucifer says as he grabs Ace's hand that isn't holding the baby.
"I trust you," Ace says. "If you say Sage is capable of watching Maiz then I believe you,"
Lucifer smiles then leans down to kiss Ace on the forehead. "Hold on tight," He says before wrapping both arms around the boy.
Ace presses himself against Lucifer's chest tightly, smooshing Maiz in between them. His hold on Maiz is tight but he trusts Lucifer to not let Maiz get hurt. Lucifer tightens his arms around the boy and his sister, then he teleports outside Sage's room.
Sage opens the door before Lucifer can even knock. "Hello, Sire, hello, Ace,"
Ace's head spins so he stays still for a long moment, Lucifer doesn't pull the boy from his chest either, he knows he will move when he wants to. Sage is patient as well as he holds Tempest in his arms, the child close to his chest as he dozes.
Ace takes a deep breath before pulling himself and Maiz out of Lucifer's chest. He smiles up at Lucifer before turning around to find Sage holding Tempest close.
"Hello, Sage," Ace greets. "How is your morning?"
"Quite well, thank you for asking," Sage replies with a pearly white grin.
"Sage, could you watch Maiz while I show Ace the villages?" Lucifer asks.
"Of course," Sage says quickly. Then he reaches for Maiz with his other hand after making sure he had Tempest in a comfortable and safe position in his other. "You two have fun and enjoy the villages," He says once he has Maiz safely in his arm.
Lucifer nods at Sage before wrapping his arms around Ace again. Ace takes a deep breath and wraps both his arms around Lucifer as well. Ace knows when they are there because of the sudden bustling noise and heat, he doesn't pull away from Lucifer though as his head spins some more.
"Love," Lucifer says. "Are you all right?"
Ace takes a deep breath but his spinning head turns quickly into a raging headache. Ace groans and presses harder against Lucifer's chest.
"My head hurts," Ace mumbles against Lucifer's leather sleeveless top. "I have a headache.
Lucifer takes in a sharp breath of air. His boy cannot be hurting, it is unacceptable. Lucifer presses two fingers to one of Ace's temples, then he sends magic to soothe the pain his sweet boy is in.
Ace whimpers as the pain intensifies for only a second before it vanishes. He gasps and lifts his head to look up at a worried Lucifer.
"What did you just do?" Ace wonders amazed.
"Hopefully just took the pain away," Lucifer answers with a hopeful look in his eye.
Ace laughs. "Thank you," He then pushes up on his toes and leaves a chaste kiss on Lucifer's lips. "It's gone now,"
Lucifer nods his head. "Good, I don't like seeing you in pain,"
Ace's eyebrows furrow as a thought comes to him. "Hey, Lucifer, does your magic ever run out?"
