I finally arrived back at home, dropping off my hand bag and keys on the kitchen counter as I went out onto the stairs and sat myself there, enjoying some time before the sunset.

I looked down at the book I had locked in my right hand since the train ride.

"Noughts and Crosses." I read out loud, as I looked at the front of the book. I flicked to the first page. There sat the stained blue ink that was close to passing onto the next page.

"Call me! I'm a good talker around 11 at night onwards." I remembered him saying. I looked down at my phone, 7 p.m. I typed the number he gave me and titled it as I locked my phone back up and placed it into my back pocket.

I returned back to the book as I leant on the metal sides, letting myself become in love with a new book all over again.

11 p.m.

I prepared myself a bath, swaying my hips to Theophilus London as it filled the whole flat.

'Butterflies butterflies deep in to haunt you
In a nice way, and you have a nice day
And we both part ways and you feel hardly safe'

As soon as the bath was filled, I pulled off my robe, the white material falling onto the floor.

I climbed into the bath as I soaked myself in the soft bubbles.

'I got a feeling we should leave this town. Travel the world in my four by four.'

As soon as I was out, I wrapped a towel round me and went into my room.

I collapsed onto the bed, picking up my phone from the side as I checked the time. 11:42 PM. I searched through my contacts and clicked on his name.

Here goes nothing... Why am I so nervous?

Before I knew it, my phone was ringing the number. After the fourth ring, I was about to hang up until I heard a familiar voice.

"Hello?" A dragged welcome was heard as I responded instantly.

"Hi it's me, Skylar-"

"Skylar? Sky... I'm going to guess the girl on the train. I never got your name." He responded.

I leaned back on my bed.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't realise! Well, I'm Sky." I felt myself become slightly nervous as I wasn't sure what to say, face palming myself silently as I realised the repetition of my name.

"Well Sky, I'm Kye and I should've guessed, a pretty name for a pretty face." I smiled to myself, knowing for sure the silence indicated that.

"Well, I thought I'd give you a bell now since you claimed you were a 'good talker' around this time. I'm sorry if you're busy." I giggled.

"I'm not bus- Did you say A bell?"

Silence.

"Wait, why would I ask you for a bell?" The voice behind the phone burst out with laughter, making me laugh just as much back.

"No, I mean like ring you. Give you a ring, a bell? Don't tell me you've never heard anyone say that?"

"Nope." he chuckled, popping the P at the end. "I am American, born and bred in case you forgot."
