Chapter 27 "Happy April Fool's"

I was lying on my bed reading a book and eating some chips. Then suddenly my iPad lit up and saw a new notification in my FB. I unlocked my screen and saw someone liked the video that I posted a yesterday?

Huh? but I didn't opened my account yesterday, I was busy watching movies all day!

I also got a message from my cousin that says she's laughing so hard on my video.

I watched the video and OMG! someone posted the video me singing 'Call Me Maybe' on FB!

I knocked on my Mom's bedroom then barged in.

"Are you the one who posted this?" I said as I pointed the video on my iPad.

"Yes, and happy April Fool's!" mom said

"Mom! so you're the one that caused this FB embarrassment!" I yelled

"But it's April fool's Cloe, don't be such a killjoy!" she said as she burst out laughing.

"Grrr." I said as I went outside her room.

I didn't remember that today's April 1st ugghh! of all the days why did I forgot this?! I should've have planned a prank for mom today.

"Hey Cloe, don't delete that video okay or else I'm gonna cut the wi-fi." she said

"But-"

"No buts." she said as I sighed defeated.

I just stared at the iPad screen and watched my friend's comments.

"Kids, come with me to the office later okay?" mom said

"But why?" Raffy retorted

"Nothing, I just miss my kids." Mom said

"Aww I miss you too mommy." Donny said

"So we're just gonna stay in your office then that's it?" I asked

"Yes, and after that we'll eat outside cause I'm lazy to cook." she said

"Okay." we said in unison

While mom was on a meeting with Donny, she left me and Raffy in her office.

"I'm hungry." I told Raffy

"Then go buy yourself some snack." he said

"What did mom said?" I asked in my annoying tone.

"Always make your sister happy." he answered

"Then go to a convenience store and buy me some chips Pringles to be exact." I smirked

"Fine whatever." he said while going out the office.

I put on my earphones and listened to music. I didn't realize how much the music got into me so my feet just got up and led me to dance.

I danced like there's no tomorrow and I heard people laughing outside. I took a peek outside and saw the staffs looking at the monitor. I just noticed at this moment that there's a CCTV inside the office! and they can see whatever your doing! I covered my face with a pillow to hide my face that is turning red from embarrassment.

"What happened?" my mom asked with Raffy and Donny beside her.

"Oh nothing, I'm just exhausted yeah that's it!" I said

"Well in that case, come let's all eat." mom said

We went to a restaurant near mom's office and ate. I noticed Donny had a hard time slicing his chocolate cake.

"Here, let me help you." I said as I slice his cake.

"Umm thanks!" Donny said

"Mom I'll just go to the powder room." I said

"Okay, make it quick." mom said

I sat on the chair and continued eating.

"Is the chair soft?" Donny asked

"I think so, it's not that soft a while a-" I said unfinished cause some people started looking at my chair.

"What the- who did this?!" I asked them

Mom and Raffy shrugged and Donny had an oblivious look on his face.

"Happy April Fool's!" Donny said

I stood up and looked at my white skirt that is now brown from the chocolate cake.

"Ugghh!" I said as I try to pull his hair but he flinted.

"Stop it this instance you two!" mom yelled

We stopped what we're doing.

"Donny say sorry to your sister!" mom said

"I'm sorry." he smirked

"Could you do it more sincere?" I said

"Fine, I'm sorry for pulling a prank on you but Raffy made me do it!" Donny said as he started to cry.

Now it's Raffy's turn to look oblivious.

"Fine, I'm sorry sis it's just you know April Fool's." he smirked

"Let's just go home and let your sister change." mom said

"Okay." we said in unison

"But we have to walk to go to the parking lot." mom said

"But-" I interrupted

"Let's go, now!" mom said

I raised my hands that signals I'm defeated. We walked to parking lot and some people kept staring on my skirt! some also tried hard not to laugh! talk about major embarassment. First the video, then the CCTV and lastly this chocolate thingy! well

for me this is my worst April Fool's.
