Cloe's POV

"Cloe! Cloe!" I was walking along the hallway when Alex caught my attention.

"Sup?" I asked calmly

"How's your mom?" She asked anxious

"She's fine now. The doctor told her she's okay." I said

"That's a good news." Lily chimed in

The bell rang and it signals us to go to our respective classes.

It was lunchbreak and we were hanging out in the cafe near our school to eat lunch and chit-chat.

"Very funny!" I laughed after Lily told us a hilarious joke.

"I need to tell you something." Alex said her voice serious.

"What is it?" Lily asked

"Nowadays I wonder why Nick doesn't hang out with us anymore." Alex said

"Yeah, I think it's been already a week it two." I said

"Maybe he's just shy to talk with us." Lily snorted

"Shy? impossible before, we were bestfriends." Alex said

"Before? Were? so does that mean it's only the three of us left?" Lily asked

"Maybe, I don't know it's just that he just disappeared like a ghost and forgot about us." I said

"Hmm how about giving him a chance?" Alex asked

"What chance?" me and Lily said in unison

"You know for him to tell us if he has a problem on something." Alex said

"Okay."

"Fine."

Lily's POV

What's up with him? Me, Cloe and Nick should be classmates then he transferred to another class. UNBELIEVABLE! frankly, I don't what's going on he acted like he already forgot us! I can't believe this could even happen. We also had a promise that we would be BFF'S tssss! now what happened!

"Ms. Coleman!"

"Yes ma'am." I answered shocked.

"Stop daydreaming and try to focus even more!" now she's yelling

"But I am focusing." I said

"Focusing? I already called you 3 times and you're not listening!" she yelled

"Pardon me ma'am." I said

"Enough! your on detention young lady!" she said

"Bu-"

"No buts!"

I shut my mouth cause I'm defeated.

Cloe's POV

"So Lily's on detention huh?" Alex asked

"Yeah, she told me a while ago." I said

"Aww poor thing!" Alex said

I just laughed.

"Could you drive me to the mall? I need to buy something." I said

"Sure!"

"Thanks!" I said

I hopped on Alex's car and we went to the mall.

"Hey, could you help me find these." I said as I point out the list that I'm holding.

"Sure." she said

We're here in the stationery section to find the things that we need in school. I was about to go to the counter to pay when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean to-"

I didn't finished my sentence when Nick snobbed at me and ran away.

"Rude much?" Alex said

"Yeah, he didn't even said a word." I said

"What's up with him?" she asked

"Dunno." I said

We paid the things we bought and Alex drived me home.

Now and then I think of when we were together

As the song played Alex smiled at me mischievously.

Like when you said you felt so happy you could die

Told myself that you were right for me

But felt so lonely in your company

But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

"Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked Alex confused.

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness

Like resignation to the end, always the end

So when we found that we could not make sense

Well you said that we would still be friends

"Relate? Nick and You." she said as she smiled at me

"Tsss, he didn't even confessed I just found out about it by myself."

But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

"Maybe he's moving on? you just friendzoned him." she said

"He deserved better." I said

But you didn't have to cut me off

Make out like it never happened and that we were nothing

"That's what happening now." she said

"Yeah right." I said as I rolled my eyes

And I don't even need your love

But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough

No you didn't have to stoop so low

Have your friends collect your records and then change your number

"Maybe he's getting his revenge." she said

"He would never do that." I said

I guess that I don't need that though

Now you're just somebody that I used to know

"He just need his space." I said

"I guess so. I hope we'll all be okay." she said

"I hope so, besides a promise is a promise I believe he'll never break a promise." I said

"How could you say so?" she asked

"Cause I believe in him. I trust him." I said

"He didn't even tried to reach out." she said

"Then we'll be the one to do it. I won't let anything destroy our friendship." I said

"Sounds like someone's too aggressive." Alex smirked

"Am not." I said

"Guilty?" she said

"Nah." I answered

Me? aggressive? very hilarious!
