Chapter 32 "Birthday Surprise"
Lily's POV
"Faster! Where's the balloons?! I told you to bring it here 9AM sharp!" Alex said as she was holding her list.
"I thought it was 9PM!!!" Nick said as he was scratching his head in confusion.
Right now, we're preparing for Cloe's surprise party. After a few weeks, we also became in good terms with Nick.
"The party starts at 7PM you idiot!" Alex said
"Sorry! sheesh! you're having a panic attack again!" Nick said as he was rushing to leave.
"Lily, is the cake still okay?" Alex asked me
"Umm, I think so it's in the fridge." I said
"Good!" she said
"Hey, I'll just call Louie to see how's his 'distraction' going on." I said emphasizing the word 'distraction'
"Okay, he still have 5 hours to do it." Alex reminded me.
"Don't worry Cloe's a heavy sleeper I bet she's still not awake by now." I joked
"Haha! stop laughing and start dialing." Alex ordered
I gave her a nod.
"Hello Louie?"

Louie's POV
I was looking for my phone when it started to ring.
"Phew! good thing somebody called." I said as I followed the sound.
I picked it up under my bed and answered the call.
"Yo!" I started
"Hello Louie?" Lily asked
"Speaking."
"Oh, right I need you to distract Cloe by not letting her call any of us which means me, Alex and Nick. Also bring her to Alex's house 7PM sharp for the surprise party."
"Surprise party?"
"Yeah! it's her birthday remember?! don't tell me you forgot!"
"No, Not a chance haha!" I giggled nervously.
"Good! bye now!" she said as the line went dead.
I checked the date today and damn! I forgot the date today! I hadn't even bought her a gift!
*Ring*
"What now?" I asked
"I forgot to tell you something! sheesh! are you mad dude?!" It's Lily again.
"Am not! I'm just 'ya know busy with my 'distracting plan'"
"Oh-Kay, pretend you forgot her birthday."
"Are you nuts?! that will make her feel bad!"
"Pffft! trust me that will work!"
"Mm-kay." I said as I ended the call.
Cloe's POV
I stretched my arms and yawn as I got up my bed.
"Happy Birthday to me!" I told my self in front of the mirror.
I squealed as I unlocked my phone.
"Huh?! weird my friends didn't greeted me? maybe they're still sleeping." I told myself as I was beginning to be sad.
I glanced at the clock.
"It's already noon. Maybe they forgot." I said as a tear escaped from my eye.
