Josh's/Third person POV - will switch between the 2
After a long week of questions from all of the boys, it was finally Saturday. All week the other 5 had wanted to know about Simons and Josh's weekends even after giving them false answers. Unknown to the rest of their friends Josh and Simon had been spending as much time as possible together. They knew their friends wouldn't mind them being together but for now they wanted to keep it a secret, especially since they weren't officially together yet.
Si😍: The fairs in town this weekend, do you wanna go ? Just me and you 💙
Josh couldn't help but smile at the text. Usually Simon would want everyone to go to fair together like they had done the last few years but this time it was different. He wanted it to be just the two of them.
Josh: I'd love to Si, but what will we tell the others ? We all usually go together 💙 Si😍: We can go with them the tomorrow, but I want tonight to be a date night for me and you 💙 Josh: Date night huh ? 😏 Then in that case I'd love to, pick me up at 7 💙
With that, Josh set his phone down and decided to get ready for his date with Simon. He knew going to the fair meant dressing casual but he was still unsure on what to wear. Eventually Josh decided on some light blue skinny jeans, a thrasher hoodie and an oversized flannel along with his vans (image).

After getting ready, it was 6:50pm so Josh decided to grab a bottle of water before he left. After a couple more minutes Simon turned up and Josh went outside.

Once arriving at the fair both Josh and Simon walked to the enterance if the fair hand in hand. They knew being there together was a slight risk because not many people knew they were together. Only their friends knew. No one in school and no one in their families knew.
After entering and walking around for a few minutes they decided to go on a few rides. Each ride they would laugh like it was only them two in the whole fair. Eventually, they began to play some of the fair games. Simon wanted to impress Josh so he tried his hardest with any game they went on. Josh began to pick on this and it made him feel special. Simon was trying hard at everything just to impress him. No one had ever done that for him before. After a few more games and winning some prizes they decided to get some food.
"Should we eat here or find somewhere on the way home?" Simon asked Josh. "Can we find somewhere on the way home, it's kind of busy here and I'm kind of struggling" Josh admitted putting his head down slightly embarrassed. He only felt embarrassed because it's rare he talks about his anxiety. "Josh please don't be embarrassed" Simon said placing his hands on both oh Josh's shoulders "You can always speak to me about anything and whenever you're struggling just tell me and we can go somewhere quieter, I'm here for you and I'm always gunna help you" he said kissing Josh on the forehead. Josh just smiled at Simons words. "Thank you".
With that Simon took a hold of Josh's hand and they exited the fair and went back to Simons car. After driving around for about 10 minutes they found McDonalds that was relatively quiet and chose to eat there. "Thank you for tonight I had a really good time" Simon didn't respond and they just ate.
The silence between them wasn't awkward at all, it was a comfortable silence. Once they'd both finished eating, Simon drove Josh back home.
"Thank you for making this night one to remember" Simon told Josh. All he could do was smile at Simon. "I should be the one thanking you, you made this night extremely fun, and you didn't let me be embarrassed when I struggled a bit earlier on, and that I can't thank you enough for". "You're welcome"
Without saying anything else, Simon leaned forward and kissed Josh. They both smiled into the kiss which eventually became a bit more heated. The kiss sped up between the pair and without any hesitation Josh slightly by Simons lip earning a moan from him, which made Josh smile even more. After having a heated kiss for a few more minutes they pulled apart so Josh could head back inside his home.
"I'll text you when I'm home okay" Simon said and Josh got out the car and began to close the door. "Okay, text you later" and with that Simon smiled and began driving away whilst Josh went inside and went to his room.
