  That's Miles Miller!

   I wake up the next day sprawled out all over my bed. Not much happened after Miles and Sebastian left. I tried to avoid all water as possibly. I did learn that drinking water, that I could still do. I grabbed my keys and walked out the door. My car pulled out of the driveway as I head to school. I get a text and answer it as I drive.

     Sebastian-
Hey, how u doing?

                                             Me-
                                       Okay. U?

Sebastian-
Fine. I'll see u at school.😄

  I pull into the school parking lot and see Aiden nervously waiting for me.

      "Hey, Malia. Can you help me, I'm desperate.."he says giving those puppy eyes.

       "Yeah. Anything for those cute adorable eyes."

     "It's been 5 months since my boyfriend broke up with me. I need a new one....help me find my soul mate?"he says. A smile spreads across my face, of course I'll help him. Plus, Aiden is not only super cute but, super ripped. It should be easy to find a guy who wants to be with him.

    "Don't worry. As cupid's assistant I will not rest until I find you  your perfect match."I say.

     "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"he says basically jumping up and down. There is one thing I love about Aiden is that he always some how finds a way to make you laugh. I love his smile and his puppy eyes which I fall for every time.
    
         I walk into first hour and see Miles. I can't believe I didn't notice he was in my class. I sit down next to Aiden and stare at the board. Science, not one of my favorite subjects. I take out my notebook and begin to doodle. The teacher walks in the room as the bell rings. I don't really remember her name or care. 
 
    "Today we will be using boiling water......"I ignore the rest of what she said. Did she just say boiling water? Oh no, this is not going to be good. We get handed beakers with the water in them. All you have to do is get none of the water on you, simple? Aiden grabs the beaker and begins to mix the chemicals.

      "You weren't listening, were you?"he asks.

      "You know me to well."I say smirk upon my face.

      "Don't worry I'll do all the work. It's to say thank you for my boy troubles. All you have to do is take notes."he says. Aww, thanks Aiden. I wish you knew how much this really means to me. Also Aiden has probably already figured out that I love to take notes. I have my favorite color light blue flair pen in my hand

       Class is almost over when a droplet of water lands on my skin. The bell rings and I rush out. I find a storage room with lots of books. I quickly shut the door behind me as my tail forms. I'm on the floor, when I hear the door nob turn. I quickly crawl my way over to a stack of books I try to hid behind.

    "Hey, Malia. It's Miles....are you in here?"he says and I begin to crawl out of my hiding spot. He sees me and rushes over helping me get out of the small corner.

     "Thanks."

   "Anytime. I know how it's like...going through all of this."he says.

     "So you and Sebastian were..."

  "Turned...no. We were both born mermen. My mom is one, my dad though is a human. Though I went through the same thing your going through. Sebastian's mom is a mermaid and his dad is a merman."he says.
