Testing

So Maddie knows now.....and I actually feel better after telling her. I've also figured out my feeling for Sebastian. I love Sebastian, I really do. I love his laugh, his sarcasm, and his smile. Oh and did I mention that he's ripped and super hot!!! Yeah so let's see where this new feeling goes. Maddie is coming over and I have no clue why. She said something about figuring out something-and testing. I hear a knock on the door and rush downstairs. I open it up to see not Maddie but Sebastian and Miles.
 
     "Hi, um what are you guys doing here?"I ask.

     "Maddie told us to come. I'm guessing you didn't know."Miles says.

   "Yeah..."I say and another knock comes from the door. I open up to see Maddie in our painted hand print t-shirt from 6th grade and some leggings.

    "Your here. Good."Maddie says.

"Okay so why did you ask Miles and Sebastian here?"I ask her. Not that I don't love them being here...it's just that I'm pretty confused on why there here.

   "Well if you we're actually listening and not zoning out about something-probably a guy.."she says the last part in a whisper."then you would have known."
  Sebastian smirks at me and laughs a little. I feel my cheeks burn as I look down at the floor. My blush only gets worst when I think about how true that sentence is. I was zoning out, thinking about a guy-um-Sebastian. I bring up my head slowly as my blush disappears. Sebastian though is still smirking at me while Miles is staring at Maddie.

  "So we're going to do some testing. If my girl, Malia is ever going to get through this she needs to know what she's up against."she says. Both boys look at her weird. We walk up to my room as she try's to explain.

   "So this is how it's going to work.."she says as she sprays me with water. My legs turn into a tail as I flop onto the floor.

   "Hey!"I yell, trying to flip myself over like a dead fish. I look at Maddie. Within seconds I have legs and I'm back to standing up.

   "We will be testing...what will make you guys turn."she tells me. Great this is going to be fun...

  "Nope...I'm not being apart of this!"Sebastian says almost storming out of the room.

    "Sit down, Sebastian!"Maddie yells as she sprays orange juice in his face. He turns into a merman, looking pretty mad at Maddie.

   "Well we know orange juice works."she says smiling at Miles. I looked down at Sebastian but, quickly turn away when I realized I've been staring at his abs for a whole minute. I hope I'm not pink, please don't tell me I'm turning pink.

  "Whatcha looking at, doll face."Sebastian says as he looks at what assuming is my bright pink face.

   "Really doll face...."I say arching my eyebrow as he gets his legs back...and sadly his shirt.

  "Fine well do this.."I say looking sadly at my future tail.

   "Miles don't think your getting off the hook that fast."she says pouring apple juice on him. She nods her head as she gets another bottle of liquid.

   This is going to be a long day....

*Lots of  tests later*

"Ugh."I say tail flapping behind me.

"Don't look so upset...you look beautiful in that tail."Sebastian says in a flirting tone.

   "Shut up!"I say elbowing him in the shoulder. I casually look away just in case I'm blushing. Which I doubt I am since I'm so tired..after doing this on what feels like forever. Miles left an hour ago because his mom was super mad at him. So it was Maddie, Sebastian, and me. It was getting pretty much more awkward by the minute. Maddie looked at her phone as she gets up to leave.

   "Where do u think you going?"I question her.

   "Oh I have to go sorry, guys. Well have fun you two."she says as she sprays water in both of our faces and walks out the door. My legs turn into a tail as I flop down on my bed next to Sebastian.

  "So..."

  "So..."

   "We are so getting her back for this, right?"he asks me.

   "Hell yah!"I say looking directly at him. I stare into his eyes not looking away for a good whole minute.

  "So how you likening the mermaid life?"

  "Well so far not so good."I say pointing down at my tail. I finally get my legs back as I stand up.

  How I love my legs..

  "No far, you got your legs before me."he says like a whining child. I smile, and give  a little chuckle. With that his tail springs back into legs as he gets up.

   "So what do you want to do? How are we going to get here back?"

   "Do you know where we can buy a toy snake.

*Time jump!*

I put the recorder with the toy snake in the box. I press the button as the recorder begins to play. I ring the doorbell and run off behind her car next to Sebastian. We both silently giggle as she opens the door. She hears the sound of the snake and opens the box. She screams, jumping out of her skin basically. Sebastian and me laugh so hard. I turn around to look at her buts she's gone. I turn back to Sebastian to see Maddie right behind him.

  "You two! I'm going to kill you!"she says yelling at us.

   "You'll have to catch us first."I say grabbing his hand. I ran off with him behind. I feel his fingers intertwine between mine as we race off. I almost feel his smirk burning through my skull. I finally stop as we reach his house. We catch our breaths, still laughing.

   "That was awesome!"he tells me. I don't say anything as I try to remember how to breathe. I smile back.

  "Well looks like we're at your house."I say turning to see his front door.

   "Yah, I'll see you later."he says walking inside his house. I walk back to my own house realizing how late it really is. It's almost 11:30 and it's pretty dark outside. I walk into my house seeing my aunt in the doorway.

   "So are you going to tell me about your boyfriend."

  "For one he's not my boyfriend. He's just a really good friend that's a boy."I say hoping she'll drop the subject.

  "Okay..if you say so."she says shrugging her shoulders. I walk upstairs and immediately pass out on my bed.
