I knew that in order for Calum to promise me to support Prishna I needed to go on this date with him.

In class I was with Prishna and she and I were working together.

"I talked to Calum" I said to her in a whispered tone.

She looked up right away.

"What did you talk about?" She asked quietly.

She seemed nervous, I could tell in her eyes.

"I told him that I would go on a date with him if he would step up, that means he's gonna take the test and if it's his he's gonna stay" I told her smiling.

She leaned over the table and hugged me.

"You're the best friend a girl could ever ask for," she told me tearing up.

"Don't cry, not here" I whispered to her.

"Just call him later and talk to him, he's not gonna be mean to you I swear" I told her.

She smiled and nodded.

After class I saw Luke, but he didn't see me.

"Why are you so down?" Jenny asked me as I was holding my locker door staring at him.

"Luke called me stupid because I'm going on a date with Calum," I told her as I shut the door.

"Well that was a stupid move, but anything for Prishna you'd do, if only he could understand that" Jenny said staring him down.

I brushed a piece of hair behind my ear and we both walked to class.

"I'm gonna do it tonight," Prishna said to us in class.

"Do what?" We both whispered to her.

"I'm telling my parents tonight," she told us.

"Wow, another smart idea" Jenny said sarcastically.

She rolled her eyes at Jenny.

"Don't listen to her, I think you're being very honest and responsible" I told her as I started to grab my book out of my bag.

"But V, you said you'll be there for me, please be there" Prishna told me.

"Of course, and if anything bad happens you're staying at my house" I told her.

As I was reading I was looking outside of the classroom door.

I noticed Calum and Michael talking, Calum had caught me staring at him, and he smiled at me.

I smiled back.

"Hey" he mouthed smiling at me.

"Hi," I mouthed back smiling at him.

I got a buzz on my phone and it was Calum.

*So did you think about it?* he asked me.

*yes...* I answered back.
