I felt as if the whole room was spinning upside down as I was walking down the hall, I know I've said some mean things and done some bad stuff but how could Luke say that.

As I exited the school dark clouds started rolling in meaning that it was about to rain soon.

I ran towards my car wiping away tears and sniffling. When I got to my car I started scrambling to find my keys. I couldn't find them and that's when the rain started pouring down on me.

"Venus!" I heard from a distance.

I turned my head and Luke was running towards me.

And that's when I found my keys.

I quickly opened the door and got in, until he stopped me from closing the door.

"Let go of the door!" I yelled.

"Venus, I can't even imagine how I've made you feel and I'm so sorry that I said that. I was just angry that-" he said.

I cut him off.

"How could you!" I said stepping out of my car.

"How could you say that? You're angry? You have no right to be angry. I'm the one without a mother, I'm the one who has to deal with that everyday! So don't tell me you're angry" I said as I punched him in the chest.

He grabbed my hands.

"Let go of me!" I screamed.

"I know you've been keeping this inside of you for a long time, it's okay to be mad and cry" he said.

I looked at his eyes and just started to tear up.
I cried heavily onto his chest and he just held me in the cold rain.

"I miss her," I said sniffling.

"I know" he whispered to me.

"Venus, I'm really sorry and I should've never said that to you, and you have every right to be mad at me" he told me saddened by his actions.

I wiped away my tears and let go of him.

"I know you're sorry Luke, but I just can't forgive you right now" I said as I opened my car door.

"I just need to be alone right now," I said starting the engine .

"V, please don't do this" he said leaning on my car.

"I can't look at you right now, because I want to forgive you and I just hate myself for even liking you. But I just can't forgive you. Leave me alone" I said closing the door.

I just drove away leaving him there but I didn't care anymore. I didn't care about anyone at this point anymore.

When I got home I walked into my room and just set my bag down on my bed.
I threw my hair into a ponytail and just lied down on my bed and fell asleep.

I was awoken to knocking on my door and when I didn't answer my dad had come in with house phone in hand.

"The boy you tutor is on the phone, Luke right? He says he wants to talk to you" my dad explained.

Tell him I'm not in the mood.

"She says she doesn't want to talk right now Luke how about trying again tomorrow" my dad said before hanging up.

"Whats wrong Venus?" My dad said rubbing my back as I couldn't face him.

I didn't answer until finally I looked at him and just hugged him as I cried.

"I miss my mom" I said into his shoulder.

"I know, and I miss her to, we all do"

Skylar and Ashton came into my room with Mason.
They just hugged me.

Skylar whispered into my ear and I felt calmed down a little
"I miss her to, we'll get through this V" she said as she ran her fingers through my hair.

For the first time in a long time we were a family again, even if it wasn't under the best circumstances.
