Chapter 9

Nikki's Pov

I woke up and looked around we were all exactly where we left off last night.

"Nikki we need to talk to Butcher today." I looked behind me and found Amy talking.

"Why today?" I asked.

"Cause it's the last day before  Mr.Perez closes up his deals and we need the extra bonus." She said

"Oh yeah right what time then?" I asked

"10 minutes" I nodded and got off of Mikey and kissed his cheeks.

I walked into our costume room and got some clothes to change into. i just changed into a a jersey dress and some white shorts.

After I came out I saw everyone awake.

I skipped over to Mikey and kissed him on the cheek. 

"Lets go Nikki!" Amy rushed me out the door and we ran toward the stairs .

When we finally got to the 2nd floor we went into a meeting room with Butcher.
We sat down.

"Why did you call me in here, if it's about what happened the other day,I swear I'm sorry Nikki." He said

"No it's not about that." I sighed

"Then what's it about." He said.

"Okay so imma be straight forward. We don't need your help out anymore at the company." She said

Wow way to be straight
forward.

"So what does that mean?" He said

"No were firing you actually. Nothing personal it's just that you have your own branch." Amy said

"Why did you have to lie to us. And why didn't you go to your own company y'all were successful."I told him sternly

"Yeah why didn't you." Amy said

"Be-Because ever since your company started off you guys have had great publicity and great status' I guess I just wanted that too." He said

"I'm sorry but we have to go. Just send in your resignation letter and we'll send you your last paycheck." Amy said and grabbed me and we ran out to the uber.

I looked at her "When did you get one and where are we going?"

"A couple of minutes ago and did you forget we have to finish designing new clothing for the fashion show tomorrow." she replied

I felt bad that we just left Andrew in their and didn't do anything.

I sighed and closed my eyes for the rest of the ride to the apartments.

Amy's Pov

Once we got there we payed the driver and walked into the building. We reached our floor and saw a man standing outside my door.

"Um excuse me why are you outside my apartment?" I asked

"Don't you recognize me?" He said

"No-oh Spencer?" I said and he nodded.

He was my ex we broke up because he moved to Australia to go to college.

"Yea good to see you how've you been." He asked

"I've been fine and um this is my friend Nikki."

"Hi" she said

"Hello beautiful lady." He grabbed her hand and kissed it. She blushed.

"So why are you here?" I asked

"Well I wanted to visit you and talk somethings out,over dinner I hope." He asked

"I would love to when and where."

"Tonight at the Galloway restaurant."

"Sure text me the rest and I'll meet you there." We hugged and he left.

I looked over at Nikki and she gave me the 'you-have-a-boyfriend-why-are-you-going-on-a-date-with-this-cute-guy-look'. "What?" I asked.

"You know what Aims. You have a boyfriend and not to mention he is your ex."

"We aren't gonna like hook up or something. Its going to be very platonic"

"Whatever you say." She said and walked away I to the designing room. I sighed and followed in suit.
