Modern story

It was Caspian's birthday. He throws a party. At late hours a lot of them were drunk and passed out. We, who didn't get drunk sat in the circle and play truth or dare. Most of them were having to make out with someone or do something really stupid.

"So Ed, truth or dare?" asked Caspian.

"Dare," said Edmund.

"I dare you to play a pocky game with a person to your left," he smirked and looked at me. That person on his left was me.

"Kate it's you!"Caspian smirked.

"Um, what is the pocky game?"I asked. (A/N: You can google it if you don't understand.)

"Ok, stand up, "Caspian said and we stand up.

"Now this is Pocky stick," he said and show us a stick.

"Both of you put your side of the stick between teeth but don't eat it," he said. We do as he told. Only now I realize how close we are. I blush a little. I have a crush on Edmund. And I don't want to tell him because I don't want to ruin our friendship.

"Ok, you will have to eat this stick, but you can't pull away. If one of you pulls the stick he will have to run in undergarments to my old neighbors. And I have to tell you, they don't like teenagers."

We nodded our heads and we began. It was weird, but I still continue. I didn't want to lose. I was so concentrating on eating this stick, that I didn't realize how Edmund and I are getting close and close to each other. Suddenly my lips brushed Edmund's and I look at him. I blushed and others were smirking. Edmund then smashes his lips onto mine. I was shocked but then kissed back. He cupped my cheek with one hand and put others on my waist pulling me closer. I put my hands in his soft hair. Our lips move in sync(?). It was a really passionate kiss. Everyone around us were cheering. We let go.

"Good one, guys," said Caspian smirking.

"Um, Kate. Can we go outside?"Edmund asked.

I nodded my head and follow him outside. We sat on the stairs.

"Kate, I love you. Like really really love you. Ever since you came into my life, my life is better. You light up my world. I love being with you. I was afraid to tell you. I didn't know your feelings. But I think that this kiss tells me you have feelings for me." he said and look me in eyes.

"I love you too Edmund. I really wanted to tell you, but I was afraid I would ruin our friendship." I said and we kissed one more time, just this time it was much slower and sweeter.
