8 year old

I was new to my school and it was my first day. When I came I went in the class and sat alone and wait for a teacher. Some girls came to me."Hey."I said.

"So you are new here?" the blonde one asked.

"Yeah, "I said.

"Hm...well I like your notebook." she said and take it."Hey, give it back."

"Why should I? It's mine now. And if you told anyone there will be consequences." she said. I got scared and went to sit back. These girls went out. After a few minutes, they came to me. They look scared.

"Here is your notebook." the blonde one said and gave me my notebook. What is happening? First, they took it and now they return it. I look through the notebook. Maybe they write something. But they didn't do anything. Then I hear a bell and the teacher came in.

12 year old

Since that day I was bullied. I don't even know why they bullied me. I didn't do anything. They stole my things and beat me. But I don't understand why they always give me back my stuff that they stole. I have a few friends but they never help me in this situation. They and the other kids just watch and some of them laugh. But today was different. It was the end of the last class when some boys started to beat me and a boy from another class jump in.

"Hey leave her," he shouted.

"Why should we?" the one asked.

"I said leave her," he said angrily. They got a little scared and back away from me.

"Now apologized to her," he said.

"What? No." one started protesting.

"Apologize!" he shouted.

"We're sorry," they said scared. Everyone leaves and it was me and this boy. He came closer.

"Hey are you alright?" he asked and help me stand up.

"Y-yeah.Thanks."I said. I looked better at the boy. He has dark hair and chocolate eyes. I could get lost in them. What am I thinking about? I can't think like that? I don't even know who he is.

"Hey are you here?" he waved with his hand in front of me.

"Yeah.Sorry.Just thinking. Did you ask something?"I asked embarrassed.

He chuckled."Yeah. I asked if you want to go on hot chocolate. I know a great place.

"Sure," I said and we leave the school.

We went to some coffee shops.

"Hey Luke," he said to a young man.

"Oh hey," he said and then he saw me.

"Who is your friend?" he asked with a smirk.

"Um this is Ellie," he said.

"Nice to meet you, Ellie," Luke said and smile.

"Me too," I said and smile. We sat on the counter.

"So what can I get for you two?" he asked.

"Two hot chocolate please," he said. Then something clicked in my head.

"Hey, I don't even know your name. (A/N: Shawn Mendes song.😍 😍)

"Oh sorry. Silly me.I'm Edmund," he said.

"Here you go," said Luke and gave us our hot chocolate.

"So I have a question for you,"I said.

"Ok."

"Why did you help me?"I asked.

"Ok, maybe you didn't notice but I was helping you since that day when you came to this school. Remember when they took your notebook and after some time they gave it you back."

I nodded my head.

"Well, I saw what they did and I tell them to give it to you back. he said.

"All these years I was somehow protecting you," he said and take a sip of his chocolate.

"But why? Why you never show up?"I asked.

"I don't know," he said.

"Well thank you so much. I don't know how will I repay you."I said.

"How about that we became friends," he said.

"I guess, "I said and smile.

From that day Edmund became my best friend. The bullying didn't stop, but they didn't bully me so much. Through years I got a huge crush on Edmund. But I didn't tell him. I don't want to ruin our friendship.

Graduation day

Wow, I couldn't believe it. It's the end of High School. Today is graduation day. I am so happy.

Later

We are sitting on the chairs. Parents, teachers and family members are here. A few people give a speech. Then Edmund went on a stage. He didn't tell me he was going to read a speech.

"Hi everyone. I'm Edmund Pevensie and I have a speech about one person.

Ellie, I remember when you came the first time in this school. I thought you were really cute. I was so shy to come to you, so I always protected you without you knowing. I remember when we became friends. When I came home I was screaming and dancing like crazy..." he laughs and everyone else laugh.

"...Since that day you became a part of my life. We did everything together. We laugh, we cry, we comfort each other. I never met a person like you.Funny,sweet,caring,lovely,strong,brave,crazy.I could talk about you all day and all night. You have a special place in my heart. I love you, Ellie. I was scared to say because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Wanna be my girlfriend?" he asked. Everyone clapped and awed. I started crying.No one ever do that for me. I was so happy. I went on a stage and Edmund grab my hand. I look at him and said"Yes."

"She said yes," Edmund said on the microphone. Everyone clapped. Then it was time for throwing hats. Everyone throw hats and I feel lips on my lips. I was shocked at first but then kissed back. It was sweet. We let go and Edmund put his forehead on mine."I love you, Ellie."

"I love you too Edmund."
