I will premise this by saying that I'm not here to divulge new ways to garner a larger readership—or any, for that matter—more votes, and/or comments. There are plenty of helpful things like that already surfaced on Wattpad. No, this has been written to serve as a guide for all those of you who desperately wish to become better, more effective writers.

In this, you will find some basic tips that you can use to achieve this. The idea isn't necessary to mimic someone else's voice as is it to ensure that you are championing your own in the most creative and engaging way. Let me note also that these tips are in no particular order of importance; they are all equally footed...at least in my book.

Oh, and if you are wondering what qualifies me to write this guide, I'll tell you. First of all, I can give you the clichéd statement about wanting to see every writer succeed, and I do, but...well, the nuts and bolts of it comes down to a few other things about me. I hold both a B.A. and M.A. in English. I've been a Technical Writer by trade for the past eighteen+ years. And, well, I've published a novel, psychological thriller series, and a poetry book. So, there you have it. I kinda sorta know a thing or two about this stuff. Oh, and yeah, I've been writing a very, very long time.

I will be making updates to this guide as I come across new and helpful tips to add. Feel free to make a suggestion or comment.
