Before we begin, I have an interesting inquiry I'd like to share with all of you. I've noticed something very peculiar in atheist books and religious books. A difference that baffles me, yet I totally understand at the same time.

When I look at the comments section of religious books, it's filled with supportive people of the same faith cheering the author on and praising them for their words. You can sometimes find an atheist thrown in there, but for the most part it's just fellow religious people.

When I look at the comments section of atheist books, it's filled with religious people arguing with the author, throwing out Bible verses, getting upset when the author vilifies God, etc. There are only a handful of atheists in the comments, and usually it's just to refute the religious people's arguments.

Why do y'all think this is the case? Why is it that on religious books the comments are filled with love and praise, whereas on atheist books the comments are filled with debates and arguments from non-atheists?

Why do more religious people flock to atheist books, where not many atheists bother with religious books?

Just something to think about, comment your thoughts!

Now, let's get into the questions:

1. If there is only one God, why are there over 4,000 religions? If the idea that humans created God is silly, how can all the other gods man created be false?

2. Is the Bible to be taken literally or figuratively? Are the characters and stories to be taken literally?

3. Why does God perform miracles for some, but leaves the majority with their ailments?

4. Why does God command the deaths of so many innocent people? (Exodus 35:2, Leviticus 20:13, Deuteronomy 22:13-21, etc.)

5. Why does God condone slavery? (Exodus 21:20-21, Ephesians 6:5, 1 Peter 2:18, etc.)

6. How can you tell the voice of God from the voice in your head?

7. If God is all-knowing, why did he make humans knowing he'd eventually have to send Jesus to his death?

8. When you declare a miracle, doesn't this mean you understand everything that is possible in nature?

9. Why would an all-powerful God need 6 days and a resting day to create Earth?

10. If there is a loving God, why does he permit/create natural disasters that kill thousands of innocent people every year?
