*Carmen's POV*
I woke up to Caroline shaking me again. Must've been the nightmares. They can't be back! The doctor said they wouldn't- Caroline's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Carmen, calm down! It's not real! It was just a dream!" she said soothingly. Caroline is the only friend that knows about my nightmares.
"Was my screaming loud this time?" I asked her.
"Yeah. I bet the guys heard it" she laughed, trying to lighten the mood.
"I'm sorry I woke you up again. I have some medicine in my bag just in case. I'll go take some." I say.
"It's okay, Crem, I just want to make sure that you're okay" she says, following me to the bathroom.
"Doc said take two each night, but it will take a couple days for it to kick in. You might want to sleep with headphones in, Carol." I suggest.
"I don't mind. I would rather wake up with you than watch you scream in your sleep" she said.
"Thanks. Now, try and get some sleep, k?" I said.
"K, you too" she said.
I was almost to sleep when I heard a knock on the door. I got up and saw Nash standing there, looking tired. He ha bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. "Nash? What are you doing here at..." I checked my phone "... 2 in the morning?" I asked.
"I heard screaming. I wanted to make sure you were okay" he said, caressing my cheek with his thumb.
"It was me, but I'm okay. It was jut a nightmare" I said.
"Do you want me to stay with you?" he asked sounding concerned.
"I couldn't make you stay up with me" I said, shaking my head.
"It's fine, I just want to make sure you get back soundly asleep".
"I'm taking a wild guess here and saying you won't take no for an answer?" I ask.
"Very true" he said.
"Fine" I said, taking his hand and leading him in.
I eventually fell asleep, with Nash's arms around me, and my head on his chest.
