The L Word

*Carmen's POV*

I couldn't handle it. When the doctor said she might not remember, I lost it again. I started sobbing into Nash's shoulder. He was amazing at times like these. I really do need to apologize to him after this is over... I suddenly felt myself being lifted off the ground. Nash scooped me up into his arms and carried me through hallways until we got to an empty hallway. He stopped walking and started rubbing my back.

"I-I'm so sorry, Nash" I managed to choke out between sobs.

"You have nothing to be sorry for" he said, looking into my eyes "if it were me in your shoes, I would've lost it a long time ago."

"B-But you sh-shouldn't have to deal with all this" I said, wiping away a tear.

"I don't mind at all" Nash said, pulling me to his body.

"I love you" I whispered in his ear, hugging his neck tighter.

"I love you too" Nash said. Woah, I just said the-the L word...
