Chris keeps talking me and Michael into signing for the talent show. We keep telling him no, but he just wont shut up.
"Why the hell not?" He demanded while we were at lunch.
"We're not ready for a fucking talent show," Michael snapped.
"I need to pick up my grades," I said. "I can barely pick up my feet to dance."
"But-"
"Hey losers!"
We turned around and saw Dean, our arch enemy.
"Signing up for the talent show?"
"Yeah," Chris said.
Michael and I sushed him, but he wouldn't shut the fuck up.
"Get ready to lose," Chris said.
"Please," Dean said." Me and my group are going to be the next Jackson 5."
Chris laughed."Nigga, no. Y'all can't even sing."
Dean laughed and walked away.
"We don't want to do this!" I said.
"Shut up,"Chris said."We're doing this. We just need to do some practicing. If that doesn't work out, then we'll stop."
I sighed."Fine." Then I said "And if we're going to be the next Jackson 5, then I'm Michael."
"Nigga, no," Chris said."I'M Michael."
"Why can't I be Michael?" Michael asked. "I'm the one who has the same name as him."
"So?" Chris said.
I opened my orange juice.
"What should we sing?"
"Beyoncé!" Michael said.
We stared at him.
"What? We don't have to sing songs by men."
"True," I agreed. "How about All Night?"
"Sure," Chris said.
"So apparently there's supposed to be some new kid," Mike stated. "Girls say he's cute."
"He's probably just some jackass," I said.
"Like you?" Chris asked.
I slapped him with my pizza.
"Ow."
