I had 3rd period with Elliot and the more I saw him, the more I knew how cute he was.
His smooth, soft skin.
His green eyes.
His straight brown hair.
His sheepish smile.
You ever that person who you just wanna hold forever? That was him.
He made many friends very quickly. Chris, Rene, and Michael like him, thank God.
"So where you from?" Chris asked him in gym class.
"Delaware," Elli replied. "Nothing much happens in the little town I was in."
"Nothing really happens here in Texas either," Michael said.
"Really?"
"Nah, I'm just kidding. Texas is the fucking shit."
"So what kinda music do you like?" I asked, lowkey being a stalker.
"Every genre, I guess," Elliott responded. "But it depends on the song. I don't like most of what comes on the radio."
"Same," Chris sighed.
"I play the piano, actually," Elliott said. "I'm kind of working being an artist myself."
"Cool!" Mike chimed.
"Lend me some mixtapes," Chris joked.
"Well, not a big artist like Rihanna and all them. The industry is too messy. Too many sneaky people. But I would love to sing and play in front of people."
"I'll be your biggest stan!" I promised.
"Stan?" Chris said.
I sighed. "Like 'fan.'"
"Ohhh...." Chris said, probably still not getting what I said.
"What kind of music is it?" Mike asked.
"RnB, alternative, pop, jazz.... you know," Elliott said.
Mike was impressed.
"So what's your favorite color?" I asked.
He stared at me. "Blue?"
I could tell he was uncomfortable with my eager nosiness. Damn it, Tommy.
"Alright, let's tell you about ourselves."
