I asked both Chris and Michael to come over and they agreed. My heart was beating hard. This is the day. I've never felt this scared.
When they finally arrived, I couldn't stop shaking. This was it I'm finally going to tell them.
I opened the door.
"Hey."
"Hey," they said.
They both sat on my couch. My dad and brother weren't home.
"So what is it you wanted to talk to us about?" Michael asked.
I sighed.
Do it, Tom. Do it.
"We're...we're best friends, right?" I stuttered.
"Of course," Chris replied.
"And we're supposed to tell each other everything," I said."Right."
"What did you do?" Chris asked.
"Are you doing crack?" Michael stupidly asked.
"No!"
"Then what's wrong?" Chris asked.
I took a deep breath.
"Promise me you wont start hating me," I said.
"Promise," Chris said.
"Promise," Mike said.
I breathed again.
"I'm...." I tried to let it out. "I'm..."
"You're pregnant?"Chris said.
I smacked my forehead. Sometimes, these two combined were dumber than a donkey.
I breathed one last time.
"I'm bisexual."

It was silent. I waited for them to say something.
Then, for some reason, they laughed their asses off.
I raised an eye brow. "What?"
"Thomas, stop playin," Chris said.
"I'm not."
"Thomas," Michael said laughing."Why did you bring us here?"
"To tell y'all that I'm bi?"
"Thomas, seriously," Chris said.
I lost my cool.
"I'M SERIOUS!" I bellowed.
Chris and Michael jumped. I think now they knew I was serious.
"I'VE BEEN HIDING IN THE FUCKING CLOSET FOR TOO LONG TO BE KIDDING AROUND! I'M BISEXUAL! WHAT PART OF IT CAN'T YOU FUCKERS GRASP!"
It was silent again. I waited a second time. They looked so shocked and confused. They couldn't say anything. It felt so awkward. They better still have my back after this.
Finally, Chris said,".....oh.."
"Well," Michael said.
They really didn't see this coming.
Then I said,"If you have a problem with it, then....then leave."
I waited. I waited for them to make disappointed faces and slowly walk out and go home.
"Why would we have a problem?" Michael said.
"Yeah?"Chris said. "Bisexuality doesn't mean shit to us. Thomas, look at me. I don't care if you're bi, gay, transgender, or whatever. We love and support you. And other LGBT+ people."
My heart glowed. "Really?"
"Yeah," Michael said. "It's 2018."
My eyes were filled with joy and happiness. I thought they would be upset. I danced on the inside. I was so glad two of my bestfriends accepted me.
I hugged them, crying. "I thought you two would ditch me."
They hugged me back.
"Like hell," Chris said.
"Only losers would do that," Michael agreed. "Don't cry."
I sobbed hard. I don't deserve these angels.
