I didn't actually learn Cloud's name until he decided to plant his ass next to mine on the curb just in front of my house. It was right after I'd come back from the corner store where I'd purchased a white chocolate bar and a can of Coke. I had been minding my business until that vampire looking motherfucker decided to invade my space.
"The people in this neighborhood talk about you. They say you're a stone cold bitch with no sense of what it's like to be a lady," he informed me as I took a sip from the red can in my hand. I scoffed and shrugged in an effort to express that I already knew and I didn't give a fuck.
"Why the fuck do you keep bothering me? What's your deal?" I asked wondering why this annoying teenage boy was just so persistent. He shrugged and buried his hands into the same jacket he'd been wearing when I'd first saw him. "You're a girl. I'm a guy. It's the middle of summer in a shit town with nothing to do. You make my dick tingle," he said in all seriousness, causing me to turn my head towards him quickly after placing my soda on the driveway behind us.
"I'll cut it off if you talk about it again," I threatened not really wanting to hear about his penis in general. That same smile he always seemed to be wearing graced his face as he threw his head back in laughter. "I believe you probably would. Worth the risk in my opinion," he responded before bumping his shoulder into mine.
I recoiled quickly as if his shoulder was a bundle of burning coals. "Don't touch me, prick!" I spat before turning my body to kick him in the thigh. He simply laughed and grabbed my ankle before pulling me closer. I could feel the denim covering my ass dragging along the concrete as he brought my body closer to his. I flailed aimlessly as he continued to laugh. My eyes widened as he draped my legs over his lap. I couldn't tell if this idiot was serious or just insane. I did know however that he'd given me a wedgie.
"You are going to be my friend whether you like it or not. Neighbors shouldn't be so estranged," he smirked before bringing his face closer to mine. His eyes were just so damn blue and that fucking smile stirred something within me. I reclaimed my thoughts and remembered my agenda.
"Fuck off! You're so annoying!" I yelled as I reclaimed my legs and scooted back over to where I'd been sitting in the first place. "Who is this Off you keep talking about? Is she as pretty as you?" He asked attempting a joke. I almost punched him right then and there. In fact, the thought of my knuckles fucking up his face seemed so appealing. His whey-faced ass would bruise so easily.
I pushed my kinky hair out of my eyes and pointed my ring clad finger towards his dumb face, "I'm gonna tell you one last time to leave me the fuck alone. Go find some other girl to fuck with because in case you haven't noticed I don't particularly like you. Don't fuck with me again!" I demanded before turning my head towards the open street in front of us.
I heard him sigh before he stood up and walked towards the middle of the street. I watched him lie down and spread his body out before he began singing—yelling—a song I was very familiar with. "I'm a creep! I'm a weirdo! What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here!"
Man, this fucker was weird.
His voice wasn't the problem. No, it was the fact that he was lying in the middle of the street where the rest of the neighborhood could see him blatantly singing to the unladylike bitch they'd been so eager to gossip about. "What the hell are you doing?" I sighed before throwing one of my candy bars towards his head.
"Oh dear! What is he doing? Why is he singing that depressing song?" One of the housewives across the street asked as she covered the ears of her dumbass daughter, Caroline. "Mother, it's just a song," she whined before stomping her bony foot on the ground. That bitch was always stomping like a three-year-old brat.
"We do not listen to that trashy music, Caroline. Go inside," the housewife demanded before she made it her mission to march over to Cloud and me with a strict finger wagging around. "You, young man, need to stop this abrupt behavior at once. And you, Charlotte! You know better than to influence the other children with your personality. Your mother may not want to raise a respectable human being but my husband and I don't want Caroline or Bryce to be affected by your ludicrous behavior!" She whined as I rolled my eyes.
It didn't take long for me to raise my arm and spring my middle finger at her. "You see this wonderful finger right here? Yeah. It symbolizes the expressions: Fuck you! Fuck off! Fuck this! Fuck that! Fuck Caroline! Fuck Bryce! Oh! And fuck you again! Get it through your head old lady, I don't give a fuck about you or how you feel or how anyone in this shit town feels. Now kindly, once again, fuck off," I told her before lowering my arm.
Cloud had gone silent long before I'd said anything and even decided to throw his own middle finger towards the old bitch. He was funny for that one.
"I'll be telling your mother about this Charlotte!" She screeched before turning to look down at Cloud. "I expected better from you Cloud St. James! Your parents will be hearing about this as well! Two pieces of street trash!" She threatened before crossing back over to her own driveway.
Upon hearing what she called him I scoffed and shook my head. The peaked boy in laying in the middle of the street was Cloud. Weird ass name. Interesting ass name.
