" Hey Mila" Normani says as she slides in on the opposite side to her best friend at Mc Donald's.

" I was starting to get worried".

" Stop being so dramatic".

" I'm not being dramatic. It's a fact. I don't know if you were gonna blow me off for your fuck mate".

" Oh please. I promised you didnt I?".

" And broke them countless times too".

" I try dont I?" She rolls her eyes.

" Anyway, thank you for lunch and I will see you at your company function tonight".

" What function?".

" Don't tell me you forgot your own fucntion Manz".

" Crap and I have to take that geek Ryan as my date".

" He is not that bad looking Mani".

" Well imma make sure I hook you two up at the end of the function"

At the function

" I must say I am so proud of all my employees hardwork especially my niece. She has been busting her butt off from day one. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the future of  this company and employee of the month Normani Kordei Hamilton".  Cheers erupts as she walks on stage to collect her trophy.

" Wow. Im overwhelmed right now. I must thank God first of all, my coworkers, families and friends I dedicate this trophy to you all. Thank you so much".

" Congratulations" Ryan says as he shakes her hand.

" I must say my dear Ryan is a good man keep him close".

" Im sure he is" She gives a fake smile.

" Congrats Manz" Camila squeals in excitement as she pulls the girl into a hug.

" Youre an incredible and smart worker. Keep it up".

" Thank you" She embraces her aunt briefly.

" You look beautiful".

" Thank you Ryan. Now can you like move back a bit. I cannot breathe".

" Are you okay?" His eyes widen in fear

She chokes on her drink

" Look dude. If you dont want to get your heart broken. You will not prolong this conversation. Mila my best across the table might be interested. Now excuse me please" She kisses him on the cheek

" I will be right back guys".

" Dont take too long" Her uncle calls.

" Im sure she wont" Camila says in sarcasm.

Normani stepped into the washroom and immediately a hand wrapped aroud her waist.

" What are you doing here?".

" I came to see you of course. Congratulations on your award"

" Thank you. It was a shock because I am always late".

" The hard work which you put in thats what matters".

" Aw. Thank you. That means a lot".

" Meet me in room 14" He slips the card into her hand and leaves.

" Where are you going?".

" Mila you startled me".

" Dont tell me you invited him here too".

" He came on his free will".

" I dont get why you keep on doing this. Its pointless".

" I never said I was innocent neither am I trying to judge you. I just want you to find happiness. You deserve it. You deserve so much more than this hide and seek sex you play with this guy. I will see whenever you are done" She walks away.

Normani knew her best friend was right. But Val was the one guy she had feelings for and things did not work out for them. So she decided that she was not gonna put her heart on the line anymore. She didnt care about dates or conversations let alone cuddles all that mattered was the sex. At least her emotions will not have to be wrapped up in the lustful moments they shared together.

She pulled out a disinfectant wipe instructing Val to wipe his neck.

" Youre dramatic you know that".

" I dont want to be tasting no bitch's leftover" .

" Enough talking" He says as he pulls her into his chest taking in the rise and fall of her chest  " Take off your dress" He says as he unzips it allowing it to fall to the ground. She strips him out of his clothes as well. "What do you want me to do to you?".
