Being Corbyn Besson's Bestfriend (completed)//Zach Herron Fanfic

Part 25

(sorry for late update i've been busy but i'll write some more chapters later tonight. but later i have a concert so it won't be till late)

ava's pov

zach was in the hospital for a couple weeks. he's finally back at the house. he's slightly remembering us. he's remembered his family the most because they've been here his whole life and kinda remembers the boys. zach does forget their names every once in a while. and then there's me. which he doesn't remember AT ALL. the doctor said it's gonna take a while for him to remember me since i haven't been in his life that long. 

"he'll remember you. just give him time," daniel says to me. (me and daniel are in his room alone)

"what if he never does?" i say crying

"he will. it's just temporary amnesia. the longest it can last to is a year."(idk how long tho i'm just making it up for the story lol)

"how long did the doc say he thinks it will last?"

"he said 6-12 months"

"so daniel do you think i should just move on?"

"if i were you i would. and then once he remembers you, you guys can start over."

"thanks daniel" i give him a hug and go to get the other's opinion

mostly everyone says what daniel said. so i'll just forget about him now. 

daniel, corbyn, jack, jonah, and i all go a cafe down to road to get out of the house. we all order and get our drinks. i get mine while looking down at my phone and i turn around and the klutz i am, i run into the guy behind me. 

"i am so sorry"

"no it's fine. it's not everyday you run into a pretty girl and her coffee"

i get napkins and dab on his chest trying to get the coffee out.

"sorry this is not coming out. i promise i'll repay yo-"

"-ava come on we gotta go to a meeting" jonah says

"once again i'm so sorry i've gotta go" i leave mad at the guys for making me leave

"guy what the heck? i was totally about to get that guys number. it would have helped me get over zach" i tear up a bit when i say zach.

the guys say sorry and say they didn't see who i was talking to and it didn't seem important."whatever i'll probably never see him again and there's plenty of fish in the sea"

we leave the cafe and walk around for a bit. the guys say their friend logan wants to hang.

"who's logan?" i say

"logan paul" jack says

"never heard of him"

"have you been hiding under a rock"

"don't think so"

"ugh whatever let's go"

we arrive to his place and knock on the door. when we first walk in i see a puppy run up to me. i pick it up and start petting the dog. the guys all say hi to this logan guy and say

"meet our friend and current house roomie-"

i look up to see the guy i ran into at the coffee shop. (pretend logan is around the boy's age)

"coffee girl?"

"well i have a name. it's ava. nice to meet you for the second time today."

"you too. i'm logan, if you didn't know and that is my dog kong and my parrot maverick. there's brendan, evan, and ayla."

"nice to meet you guys."

"it's nice to meet the girl logan wouldn't stop talking about from when he saw you earlier"

he blushes and says "what?? no i didn't. anyway where's zach?"

"you didn't hear?" the guys say. at this point i thought of zach. i tell them i need to use the restroom but at this moment i'm already crying. they point to the direction and i go. i sit against the locked door and cry for a long time.

corbyn's pov

after ava ran into the restroom we explain to logan what happened to him and also what ava and zach used to be. then i go to the bathroom and knock on the door, ava comes out and we hug. we eventually head out to the main area. everyone gives her hugs. we all hang out for a bit until it's time to go home. logan gives his number to ava so if she needs someone to talk to but i there's something going on but i didn't say anything. it's good for ava to keep her mind off zach.
