She's Lost You.

She lost a big part of her
Drowning in grief's river
And everything seems blue

She spent all her life, so far
With you and now gone you are
And she's to live without you

With damp eyes, crinkling
And weak legs, trembling
She walks to the funeral

Tears trickling down her cheeks
Like a tap that continuously leaks
This all is still unbelievable

All dressed in white
The sky, not so bright
They gather in the graveyard

She's trying to hold on
While trapped in a world so forlorn
And everyone offers a sympathetic heart

All the years spent with you
All the hardships went through
Are now just memories

With closed eyes, in that intense black
She sees you only in flashbacks
She's got you in my rhapsodies

After the funeral ends
All's fine, she pretends
And gets back home alone

She doesn't know if it's all over
But she still calls you in her prayer
For you, her grandmother, are forever gone.
