Enjoy! 💓

Jughead and Archie had slept in, way beyond the sun rise, but they couldn't bring themselves to care as they lay in bed with their arms wrapped around each other. They had nothing to do today, nothing important enough to get out of bed for, no reason to physically move. Today they would be lazy, they deserved it after the weeks of stress they had experienced, all that school work and tests. Archie's fingers were trailing along the skin of Jughead's arm as he lay against his chest, eyes closed and enjoying the moment.
Then, after spending hours bundled up in bed, Jughead's stomach grumbled, and Archie chuckled; swinging his legs around so he was sat up on the bed, much to Jughead's dismay as he slipped from Archie's warm chest. Archie twisted his head around to smile at him, linking their hands, his thumb running along Jughead's knuckles.

"You need food and so do I, unfortunately I have to get up."

Jughead sighed, pouting his lips, making Archie lean down to kiss them. Then, reluctantly Archie stood up from the bed, throwing on some sweats, Jughead laying on bed watching him the whole time; a smirk on his face. Throwing a grey shirt over his shoulders, Archie made his way downstairs, rubbing his eyes he headed towards the kitchen. When he noticed it was desolate, he figured his dad was at work, meaning they had an empty house. After much deliberation Archie decided to make pancakes, stirring the complete mixture he poured a dash of it into a hot pan, the mix sizzling as it met the heat. Whilst he was feeling like a professional chef he sensed arms encircling his waist from behind. He chuckled, knowing it was Jughead, who then laid a light kiss on his shoulder.

"Flip it I dare you." He muttered into Archie's skin, eyeing the nearly cooked pancake in the pan. His mouth watered at the sight of it alone, he was most definitely hungry- he could wait to sink his teeth into one of Archie's famous pancakes. He had made Jughead pancakes a few times since their relationship began, and every time he could have sworn they were the best he'd eaten. It was a bold statement and maybe he was being especially proud because Archie was his boyfriend- but well Archie was his boyfriend. Archie had a look of determination on his features as he stepped back, tugging from Jughead's grasp, and held the pan out in front of him. Jughead observed him, secretly hoping he would drop the pancake so he could mock him for the rest of his life. Unfortunately for Jughead, as Archie flicked his wrist the pancake twisted in the air and landed perfectly in the pan once more. Jughead crossed his arms when Archie gave him an expectant look; clearly he was hoping Jughead would have complemented him on his skills. But there was no way Jughead was going to do that, instead he walked past Archie with a smirk.

"Just serve the good dam pancake- I'm starving."

"Anything else I can get you my majesty?" Archie grinned at Jughead, who was sat at the table with an empty plate in front of him; ready and waiting for his breakfast/ lunch because the couple had spent most the morning in bed. Archie lowered the now cooked pancake on his plate, then reached down to place a peck to Jughead's thick hair.

"Hmm." Jughead tapped his lips as if he was in deep thought and Archie smiled, standing at his side; prepared to serve Jughead. "I wouldn't mind some hot chocolate and a massage- oh and a kiss wouldn't go a miss."

Archie shook his head, a fond smile on his lips, granting Jughead his first wish he ducked down and connected his own lips with Jughead's, feeling his heart race and warmth fill his body. The things Jughead did to him he never thought was even possible before he began dating him. Jughead grinned into the kiss then pulled back. Archie set about making hot chocolate, this was going to be one unhealthy breakfast; hot chocolate and pancakes smeared in maple syrup. But neither he nor Jughead could bring themselves to care. As Archie worked on placing chocolate powered in two cups Jughead appeared at his side, still chewing on his food and Archie rolled his eyes. What Archie hadn't expected him to do was reach across and gather a handful of the mix in his hand, then, with a glint of deviousness in his eye flick it straight at his boyfriend. Archie gasped as he was soon covered in the brown powder, Jughead's laugh soon meeting his ears. He dusted himself off, being sure to flick it all onto Jughead, who laughed harder and jumped away from him.

"Give me one reason why I should continue to make you a drink?" Archie folded his arms over his chest, biting the inside of his cheek to contain a smile. Jughead shook his head with a smirk.

"Because you love me." He answered as if it was plainly obvious and Archie supposed it was and he couldn't argue with that. So, silently he twisted back around to face the side and continued to make drinks.

"You're the best boyfriend any one could ask for." Jughead told him, glad he was the only one able to say that and hopefully, if their relationship remains as great as it is now, he will always be the only one to say it.

  So fluffy... thanks for reading!!
