Mine and Heidi's first prom is in a few weeks, so I was inspired to write this
Enjoy xxx

It was finally prom season in riverdale. Commotion and excitement filled the school building, as people rushed around trying to find their perfect outfit, their perfect ride, and their perfect date. Betty had asked Veronica, Cheryl had decided to go with her squad, and Archie was going to be taking Jughead.

The two boys had been dating for a few months now, but only their closest friends knew about it. To the rest of the school their relationship didn't even exist. Mainly because neither of them did a lot of PDA in school, and you really wouldn't be able to tell they were together unless you ever saw them when they were alone. It was when they were alone when they showed eachother how much they really cared.

Archie had been trying to get Jughead to come to a school dance for ages, but he had always refused. But this time, for prom, Jughead had finally said yes. He hated to admit it, but he was actually kind of excited about prom. He was expecting it to be kind of cheesy, but he didn't care. He was going with Archie, so he was definitely going to have a good time.

As of now, they were both in Archie's room. Archie had already got changed into his outfit, which consisted of a white shirt, a red blazer, and black trousers, meanwhile Jughead was lying on Archie's bed, staring at Archie lovingly.

Archie looked over at Jughead, and smiled to himself. How he was ever so lucky, he will never knew. "So..." He spoke, snapping Jughead out of his trance. "Are you going to get ready, or what?"

Jughead reluctantly sat up. "But, Archie..." He wined. "I literally don't have anything to wear."

Archie shook his head. Typical Jughead. "Why didn't you tell me this before?"

"I was just going to wear a t-shirt and jeans to make a statement..." Jughead lied poorly.

"Jug." Archie came closer and sat on the bed next to Jughead. "Be honest, you've never owned a suit have you?"

"No." Jughead shook his head.

Just then, an idea sprung into Archie's head. "Hold on..." He left the room momentarily, coming back with a black suit, a white shirt, and a black tie. "This was mine, but it doesn't fit me. So you can have it."

"Are you calling me small?" Jughead asked sarcastically, raising one eyebrow.

"It's only like one size too small for me!" Archie laughed, chucking the clothes into Jughead's arms. "At least try it on, Jug. I'm sure it'll fit you."

"Alright, fine." Jughead got up and went out of the room to change.

"You're welcome for the suit, by the way!" Archie called after him.
"Thanks." Jughead smiled to himself, secretly exited to try on the suit.

A few moments later, Jughead returned to the room, dressed in the suit that Archie had let him borrow, the same grey hat still remaining on his head. Archie couldn't help but stare at the sight in front of him. Jughead never really dressed up for any occasion, so this was the first time Archie had seen him actually trying to look presentable. Safe to say it worked.

"Well?" Jughead asked. "How do I look?"

Archie didn't reply, he just kept staring.

"What?" Jughead shrugged his shoulders.

Archie finally got a hold of himself, and spoke. "You look amazing, Jughead." He smiled. "You look absolutely stunning..."

The compliment caused Jughead to blush very visually. A small smile spread across his face, as he turned to look at the floor in embarrassment. "Oh, shush..."
