Gerard awoke one morning. He made the bed back up and smoothed out the sheets where he had been sleeping, but he was also careful not to wake Lyn-Z, who was sleeping right next to him. He went downstairs and immediately took out the garbage from the night before. Then he started a pot of coffee right away so that it would be ready by the time Lyn-Z woke up. He pulled a box of cereal out of the cupboard and poured himself a bowl. It just so happened that he had finished what was left in the box. He noticed this and instead of putting the empty box back in the cupboard, he recycled it, ripping the cardboard so that it would not overflow the can. He then turned to Lyn-Z, who was now in the kitchen.
" I can take the kid to school today, you relax and get ready for work."
Lyn-Z squirted all over the floor.
