Based on Season 2 Episode 4 Abomination

"Stiles?" Scarlet slowed down walking through the hallways trying to listen for him. Scarlet used the flashlight on her phone to light up the dark hallway and continued down the halls. She heard the splashing Asher noted before and followed, the sound getting louder as she got closer to the pool. She pushed through the doors and walked through stopping as she saw Stiles holding up Derek in the water both fully clothed. "Stiles?" She shouted and ran over to the edge of the pool they were closest to.

"Scarlet get out of here!" Stiles yelled followed by Derek shouting, "Scarlet, seven o'clock!"

She fell to her right rolling out of the way before stopping, crouched with one leg under her and the other outstretched. Her hand rested on the tiled floor as she came face to face with the same creature she'd seen in the vision at the mechanics. Her eyes flashed golden and it was good that her back was just slightly to the two in the water. The creature turned its head inquisitively at her stepping closer.

"The water! It's afraid of the water!" Stiles grasped for the handle of the diving board but his hands slipped and he sunk into the pool along with Derek.

Minimum of twenty seconds until the window closes and they drown. It took three for Scarlet to leap over the tail that swiped for her feet, leaving her at seventeen. Thirteen as she flipped backward when it swiped at her. Ten as she regained balance. Five when she leaped for it and used her talons to slice its arm. Three after she did a backflip by pushing her feet off the creature's chest into the pool. One as she grabbed both men retracting claws and glowing eyes pulling them to the surface. She heard glass shatter and she decided it was best if she pretended to struggle. As she reached the surface herself, she felt Derek being ripped from her hands. Her heart began to race as she pushed herself onto the surface grasping Stiles with both hands.

"Scarlet it's me." Scott's voice echoed and Scarlet blinked the water from her eyes.

Scott had a hand outstretched and she grabbed it pulling herself and Stiles up. She saw the creature run away as she caught her breath. The water was cold, two things literally against her element. As her body shook as it was trying to warm her up. She crawled over to Stiles as he coughed up water that once filled his lungs.

"You're okay, you're okay." She coaxed as her hands grasped his face, her thumb lightly brushing over his cheek.

"Are you?" He asked. "That thing attack you?"

Scarlet shook her head and smiled lowering her hands, "I dove in to save you before it could."

"Thanks." He scrunched his eyebrows and she nodded.

Inevitably the group made it outside and Scarlet regrouped with Asher and the two stood on the sidewalk. Derek and Erica stood a couple of feet away from them. Scott and Stiles were deep in conversation by the car.

"Are you okay did they see anything?" Asher asked.

"No, but I did." She responded and looked past Asher to Derek who was facing her direction talking to Erica. "Where's Lydia? Is she safe?" Scarlet surveyed the empty parking lot.

"Hey, hey, hey." Asher grabbed her shoulders. "She's fine, we talked for a while and she drove home."

Scarlet nodded and smiled at her concerned actions before focusing on the problem at hand. "Derek, you hear me?" When he locked eyes with her and nodded she continued questioning, "What are you thinking?"

"Kanima. You were still under with Stiles but it was scared of its own reflection when Scott held up a shard of the glass. That's why it left." Derek explained under his breath walking over to Scott and Stiles and Scarlet nodded.
