Based on Season 2 Episode 12 Masterplan
Stiles' arm rested on the door as he gazed at the girl as they stood in silence for a moment, taking in one another's appearance. Scarlet was frozen and at a loss for words so he spoke up once again, "You, ah, left your keys in my room," he trailed off.
"Your father let me in." She nodded slightly to acknowledge the fact.
"He did?" He spoke almost confused as his head tilted assuming that if he wasn't the one at the door he must've gone to the station. "Yeah, of course, he did." She bit her lip as she tilted her head slightly to see the bruises and cuts that littered the side of his face.
"Your face -" She took a step in his direction and her hand rose, lightly hovering over the injuries.
He shook his head leaning his head to the right and away from her hand. "Oh, uh - yeah, no it's nothing. Don't worry about it. I'm fine." He spoke trying to deter her from looking at them and she held her other hand up to allow her to cup his cheeks urging him to look forward at her.
"It's not nothing, it's my fault." Her eyes flickered across his face and his hands were resting on her forearms as her fingers fanned across his cheeks. "I'm so sorry I should've caught it earlier I - I should've known. I should've done something. I-" Stiles cut the girl off pulling her into himself in an embrace. His left arm held on her lower back as his right clutched the back of her head. Her arms wrapped around his chest as she held the boy close to her. "I was so scared." She choked out in a whisper and his fingers lightly worked through her hair comfortingly.
"I know." His head nuzzled down into her shoulder and neck not caring about the pain caused by his bruises being pushed against her body. "I know." After a moment or two, the duo pulled apart. "Hey, ah, you sit, I'll be back in a second." He spoke and she nodded chewing on her lower lip as his hand left her hair and he moved past her. She slowly shuffled over and sat down on the edge of the bed fiddling with her fingers as Stiles' phone continued to blow up. When he walked back in with a roll of toilet paper he sat down on her left holding it towards her. "Hey, sorry, I couldn't find any tissues, so, uh -"
"That's fine. I had some in my room by the way." She took it with a chuckle as she rolled a bit around her hand before tearing it off and wiping beneath her eyes. "God. You have 17 missed messages from Scott." She picked up his phone which sat to the right of her and handed it to Stiles.
"I know."
"You're ignoring him?" She asked and he replied with, "No. No, not really."
"So, um, is that my jacket?" He looked at her with furrowed brows and she nodded.
"Yeah, at the school we were in the boy's locker room and were trying to get things with your scent to find you."
"And you're wearing it?" Stiles grinned and she blushed.
"I'm just wearing it because my wings kind of ripped my shirt up and I didn't want your dad to ask questions." He nodded as the words fell from her lips in a voice almost at a whisper due to their proximity.
"Can I - Can I see them?" He asked and she mumbled a 'yeah' before standing up and he copied the action. She shrugged the jacket off her shoulders before tossing it onto his bed. Stiles' eyes were trained on her as she blinked and her eyes shone an amber color. His hand raised cupping her cheek as her eyes fascinated him. As his thumb stroked her cheek her wings flew out, extending from her back as they partially enclosed around the two. "That's really cool." Stiles breathed out with a laugh as he looked all over at the bright feathers raising a hand to lightly smooth them over.
"Thanks, grew them myself." She giggled at his soft touch and at seeing the boy so overwhelmed. After a while of Stiles' gawking, she rolled her shoulders allowing the extensions of her body to reverse into her back. Stiles scrambled after seeing her ripped up shirt and handed her one of his plain white t-shirts. "Thanks, uh," She twirled her pointer finger around and he understood turning his back to her. She discarded her shirt before putting on the one he handed her. The girl unlatched the safety pin that was on her previous shirt and bound it into the one she was now wearing. Scarlet stared at the boy's back as he politely fiddled with his fingers patiently.
