Afterwards we all went back to his grandparents house. His entire family showed up, plus all of his grandparents close friends. There was possibly even more people here than at his birthday party.

"Oh my gosh, look at you!" Jessica said as I stood to hug her. "You are glowing! Pregnancy looks so good on you."

"Thank you," I smiled. It was nice to have her there. She was one of the only few family members that was close to our age. The rest were either way older or way younger, except his other cousin Nick, who Boston didn't get along with.

"When are you due again?" she asked.

"October 31st."

"Ooh Halloween baby," she smiled. "How cute! You'll have to tell me, i'd love to take some time off work and help you out. Since you'll be going to school and all."

"That's so kind of you, I couldn't ask you to do that," I declined.

"Do what?" Boston asked, wrapping his arm around my waist. I took note of the beer in his hand.

"I offered to take off at work to help you guys out for a while when the baby comes. Since you'll be occupied with the army and you don't get maternity leave in high school," Jessica said.

"That would be great actually," Boston said. "If you're offering, i'm down. I don't want to have to ask mom, you know?"

"That's what cousins are for," she smiled. "I'd be happy to. Plus i'll get my baby fix and be on my way."

"Thank you," Boston said, hugging her. "You're the best." Then he turned back to me. "Now you, have you eaten or checked your blood pressure?"

"I ate this morning and checked it this morning."

"What's wrong with your blood pressure?" Jessica asked, her happy mood suddenly turned worried.

"They're just concerned about pre-eclampsia," he told her. "Will you please eat something and then check it? I don't want to take any chances," he wrapped his arms around me, kissing my forehead the way he always does. I love when he does that.

"Yes I will," I promised.

"Make sure she does," he told Jessica. She nodded with a laugh and I just rolled my eyes.

A different family member called his name and he pecked my lips before running off towards whoever called for him.

"You guys are so cute," Jessica sighed. "I could tell you so many embarrassing stories from when he used to have a crush on you," she laughed.

"Oh, do tell," I smiled.

"First I have to make sure you eat, then I defiantly will."

She led me around the house to find some food, there were tons of options and I was actually hungry without realizing it. Sammy had run off somewhere with the kids and I barely saw him the whole night.

Jessica had me dying laughing at stories from when her and Boston were little. She also told me about her childhood and how Maria's cousin is her mom and they were best friends, making her and Boston inseparable when they were little. She's four years older than us, but graduated early and moved away. She comes back every now and then because her job gives her a lot of time off.

Boston had found his way back to me, avoiding all of his family members. He pulled me onto his lap as we were all sitting around in the living room. Most of his more distant family had left.
