Chapter 5

Eden's POV

"Come on Eden let's blow this joint and go get that kiss." Halee says as we walk out of the building

"I'm not just walking in there and as soon as I see him gonna kiss him." I say putting my hand up to block the sunlight

"whatever you say," she says in a sing song voice, "do they have food there I'm starving?"

"I know, I'm sorry I'll go to the store tomorrow. They may have a donut or something I'm not sure."

We get to the shop and as soon as we walk in, Halee abruptly stops in front of me causing me to run into her. I rub my forehead where I just hit on her back. She turns around looking at me intensely.

"Which one is he? I don't remember from the first time I was here." She asks looking behind the counter.

"The one not helping the people." I say looking around, it's not super crowded like the first time I came. There are however some people sitting at the tables on their computers or looking at a textbook or even having coffee with another person. Yet it's still not busy.

"Let's get in line then." She says walking forward only for me to grab her arm

"I feel like a stalker, I just can't keep coming to his work."

"Oh be quiet Eden, you're not a stalker. If he is weird about it, I'll just say that I wanted to come here for a donut because you have no food. It's no big deal, it is right by the school you go to." She says walking forward again

Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat. I tell myself as we walk up. I'm trying to hide behind Halee but she keeps moving to try and see the menu.

Before I know it Halee is walking towards the counter. The boy from the other day is working but Fionn is gone.

"Hey, you're the girl Fionn went on the date with, Eden right?" He asks and I nod my head in response

"See, I'm not the only one who calls it a date," Halee says smiling proudly, "she always tells me it's not a date but I think it was." She whispers to him

"Fionn does the same thing. They're just too scared to say it was a date. Now it was definitely one. Hold on a second I'll get him for you." He says disappearing from the counter yelling his name.

"Harry, let go of me." I hear a voice say then out comes Fionn being pulled my the other boy that I now know is named Harry.

The frown that was on his face softens when he looks over at me. A smile appears on his face, the same thing happens to me when I see him. I see Harry and Halee exchange looks with each other both knowing exactly what the other was thinking.

"Eden, didn't you tell me you need to use the bathroom." Halee says looking over at me with wide eyes elbowing my side.

"Fionn can show her where it's at!" Harry shouts before I can even answer.

"Um sure." Fionn says looking confused, Harry whispers something in his ear before pushing him away.

Fionn walks out from behind the counter and flicks his head for me to follow him. He takes me behind this corner to a small hallway where the bathrooms are.

"I don't actually need to use-" before I can finish I am cut off by his lips being pressed to mine softly yet forcefully. My body gets a wave of heat passed through it when his lips hit mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and he does the same thing to my waist pulling me closer to him.

We both pull away at the same time looking at each other. I am in complete shock, I'm surprised he actually wanted to kiss me.

I place my hands on his cheeks and pull him down towards me kissing him again. This time he puts my back up against the wall. He has one hand on my waist and the other is on the wall.

We hear someone clear their throat. we both pull away in fear that it's a customer needing to use the bathroom that we're blocking. Both of us let out of a sigh of relief when we see that it's just Halee.

"Sorry to interrupt, but Harry needs your help Fionn. And I'm making Eden go grocery shopping because her house has no food." She says causing Fionn to step back and nod his head

"You should come over sometime soon. Very soon, like tomorrow at anytime and we can continue this." I say to him grabbing his hands causing him to nod fast

"Okay." He says looking at me with wide eyes

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then."

"Well shit, I guess I have to go home tomorrow." Halee says pulling me away

"Bye Fionn." I call to him still keeping eye contact as I'm being pulled around the corner.

"Bye Eden." He says following behind me not breaking our eye contact as well.
