Chapter 21

I'm updating again kinda sorta not really on time. There may be errors bc I don't edit as closely as I used to buttt here ya go
Eden's POV

It's been a couple weeks since I got back to England. Everything has gone back to normal. Except Halee...something is off with her. She hasn't come out and said it but I think she's cheating on Connor.

I walk in my front door from getting coffee with Fionn and Halee is in the kitchen eating.

"Well look who it is I haven't seen you in a couple days." I say closing the door behind me

"Yeah I've been busy."

"Mhm" I say walking over to her

"What's that supposed to mean."

"I'm very curious to why you're so busy. If you're not seeing Connor that much and you're not with me." I say causing her to frown

"Why does it matter?" She spits back

"Because you're my friend and I don't want you making stupid mistakes."

"God Eden you're such an idiot. I want to make mistakes I'm trying to ruin my relationship with Connor. I don't want to be in a relationship with him anymore."

"Then break up with him."

"You won't understand...never mind." She says and I just walk to the fridge changing the topic

"Why haven't you shown up to class much?" I ask

"Eh I don't know if I wanna be a lawyer anymore."

"Why not?" I ask

"I wanna be the best but I can't do that with you around."

"What is you're problem Halee?"

"You Eden, you're my problem. I can't beat you even when you left I couldn't top you. How am I supposed to be a lawyer when I'm stuck in you're shadow." She shouts at me

"Halee stop this you're overreacting!" I shout back at her.

What has gotten into her, I can't keep up anymore.

"You know Eden, this wouldn't bother me so much if we weren't friends. I could take you down no problem but you're my friend which prevents me from doing so."

"Are you talking about fighting me?" I ask

"No dumbass, I'm talking about beating your scores. Honestly how did you even get into law school.

"Stop acting like you're smarter and better than me. Clearly I'm not stupid or you wouldn't feel so threatened."

"I bet you didn't even have to work hard to get into law school. I have a feeling your daddy bought your way in."

"Do you hear yourself right now? I had to work my ass of to get into school over here. You know this is stupid I don't know why this has suddenly became an issue."

"It's became an issue because you started questioning me."

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about. You need to leave; get out of my house."

"Gladly you can go fuck yourself Eden." She says picking up her things from the counter before storming out.

I start cleaning up the kitchen and I'm at a loss of words. I don't know what her problem is. I don't know why it's such a big deal that she's not first in the class. She barley even shows up anymore and that started when she got with Connor.

"I don't know what I did to her. I don't know why she's all mad at me all of a sudden." I say sitting down on the couch with Fionn he just shakes his head.

I told him to come over so I could tell him what happened and he has just been laughing at me while I've gone off.

"Then she calls me an idiot and a dumbass. Like I'm not the one wasting thousands of dollars on something that I don't even show up for. She then tells me that she doesn't want to be a lawyer anymore because I'm beating her in the class. I don't understand-" I ramble on before getting cut off by Fionn's lips crashing on to mine.

I kiss him back with the same force, and I climb on top of him straddling his lap. I cup his face and kiss him beginning to slightly rock my hips against him. I feel him begin to grow hard under his sweatpants.

He stands up with me in his arms and takes me to the bed room. I push him up against the wall wanting to waste no more time. I need him now I want to forget my problems. We begin to remove each other's clothes and he flips us around so it's my back pressed against the wall.

He begins to rub in between my legs allowing me to become wet down there. He hoists me up between him and the wall and slides into me with no effort at all. We've never done this before or at least I haven't he seems to know what he's doing. My arms tightly wrapped around him still unsure of how this is going to work.

With no warning he begins to thrust into me. Once he finds a steady pace I begin the relax a little bit more. My fingers are now tangled in his hair while his are pressed firmly on my hips. His mouth is sucking on my neck leaving hickeys that are going to be very vivid and maybe a little painful. At this point I can't even contain my moans and neither can he. I've never seen him so wild and vocal as he's occasionally whispering naughty things in my ear.

"Eden I'm not gonna last much longer." He moans before slightly biting down on my neck again causing me to moan.

"Neither am I."

Shortly after that we both finish and he lets me down. Both out of breath we just stay embraced in each other's arms

"I hope that was a good break and distraction because you were sure talking way too much."
