Chapter 18

Just so you know this chapter kinda skips around a lot. I'm sorry this chapter is so late! There may be some errors I didn't edit it as much as I usually do. I just wanted to post something so you didn't think is was abandoning the story.
Fionn's POV

"Fionn just give her time. She needs to process everything." My mom says.

I'm laying on the couch and my head is in her lap. I used to lay like this all the time when I was younger. It's the only way I would take naps during the day.

"I have ruined everything. I don't even know what was happening. I just kept moving closer then next thing I know we were pushing each other off. I love Eden, I should have just came home and gotten yelled at by you. That sounds much better then all this." I say sitting up.

She closes her book and pushes the hair out of my face. Things were good with Eden, we were good together. Now I don't know how to fix it and my mom isn't really helping.

"Time heals all Fionn." She says

"Ugh whatever, I have to go to work."

I'm stacking the coffee cups when Harry walks up behind me and hits me in the back of the head.

"Ow fucker, why did you do that?" I say pushing him off

"I could be asking you the same thing. What the hell were you thinking?"

"Well I clearly wasn't thinking."

"You've screwed up. Have you talked to her?"

"No I've tried but she isn't answering her phone."

"Well maybe stop by her house after work and check on her. Maybe she will let you explain since she's had some time to think."

After Harry and I close the shop for the night we decide to drive over to Eden's house. I just need to see or talk to her. Even if she's telling me to leave her alone, it will be better than this silence.

Harry and I walk up the stairs of her building. We walk to the end of the hallway to her door. We stand there for a second before we knock.

"It will be okay Fionn, she's had time to calm down and think." He says putting his hand on my shoulder.

I take a deep breath and knock on the door. We wait a second but the door doesn't open. I frown at harry and he shrugs his shoulders. I knock on the door again, still no answer this time.

"Maybe she's not here. She might have went out for a little bit." Harry suggests

I remember that I have a key. I find it on my key chain and start to open the door. This causes Harry to stop me.

"Fionn don't go in her house. Come back tomorrow she will probably be angry if she comes home and we're here."

"Don't worry about it." I say and open the door anyways.

All the lights are off leaving it to be pitch black. I find the light switch and turn it on. Her house looks untouched from that night. She has groceries still on the counter in the bags. I walk over and notice that there isn't anything cold out. I open the fridge and it's completely filled with food.

I walk to her bedroom and her dresser drawers are all left open. Some suitcases that she brought to move her things here are pulled out of the closet. I walk to the bathroom and all her bathroom accessories are gone.

She's gone, where did she go? I walk back to the kitchen and just stand not sure of what to do now.

Halee's POV
After Eden wasn't in class for a few days I got worried. She was so set on passing the test and she never even showed up for it. I went over to her apartment this morning and she wasn't there. I think she might have gone back home.

This wasn't supposed to happen. I didn't even know what was going on. I haven't even told Connor why Eden and I aren't talking. It may mess things up between us. I know I should though. I've tried texting and calling her but she never answers.

I guess I wouldn't either if I walked in and saw what she did. She just never let us explain. Fionn was drunk and literally seconds before he got a little too close was saying how much he loved her.

I hope this can be fixed. She means the world to him. It would crush him if they couldn't fix it.

And for us, I don't know what I would do without her. She's become one of my best friends . I hope she comes back soon so I can try to explain. It's all one big misunderstanding, where Fionn and I are at fault.
