Chapter 20

I've finally updated!! Took long enough right?? There may be some errors I finished this fast and didn't really read back over it all that well.
Eden's POV
I walk into my law class and take a seat in my usual spot. Halee is not paying attention and is studying her book. When I sit down her hand flies across the desk.

"You can't sit there that seat is taken." She says not looking up.

"By who?" I question and she looks up when she hears my voice

"Oh my god Eden it's you!" She says grabbing my wrist. "You've been missing in action for weeks. Where have you been?" She asks

I set my coffee that I got from Fionn down on the desk before sliding into sit down.

"I went home for two weeks I needed time away to think." I say

"Oh right well I want to explain myself because it's not what you think-" She says before I cut her off

"Fionn already explained it. I need to apologize to you because I was wrong."

"If I was in your position I would have assumed the same thing." She says to me

"Well that's the thing with assuming right... it makes an ass out of you and me."

Halee and I walked to the coffee shop after class ended.

"So how was seeing your family?" Halee asks

"Pretty good. My dad was busier than ever so I saw my mom more. Which is how it always was so it was nothing new there." I explain to her Fionn walks over carrying two plates.

"Harry and I just attempted to make these new muffins taste them. Then tell me what you think." He says smiling as he puts them down in front of us.

Halee and I give each other a weird look before tasting them. I bite into it and instantly spit it back out. I was expecting it to be sweet and good but no.

"Oh my god Fionn that is horrible." I say

"Yeah don't sell those." Halee adds on

"They're supposed to be healthy." Harry shouts from behind the counter.

"Bring is something sweet out to get this nasty taste out of our mouths." I tell Fionn he nods his head walking back behind the counter.

Halee, Fionn and I are sitting on the couch watching Netflix.

I have to say that I have pretty good friends. I over reacted majorly. I should have stopped and listened not ran off so fast. I have a tendency to do that.

If I was them I would have raised hell when I got back, yet they didn't. They were both so worried, they would come check my apartment every day. They would also call and text almost everyday as well.

I look over at Fionn who has his eyes closed not really watching the tv anymore. He makes me so happy I can't imagine not being with him.

I never once didn't want to not see him again. It might have seemed that way but I didn't. I just needed to think and I didn't go about it in the right way.

"Well peeps I gotta blast." Halee says jumping up

"Where are you going?" I ask her

"Out." She says replies grabbing her keys from the counter.

"With Conner?" I ask

"You wish...I really just like having sex with him I'm about to break up with him he's too clingy and needy." She shrugs opening the door

"Break up with him before you do anything stupid."

"Maybe, we'll see." She says walking out the door

I look to Fionn and he just shrugs his shoulders and shakes his head.

"What has gotten into her" I say

"Your guess is as good as mine." He says

He leans closer to me and presses his lips to mine. I put my hand on his cheek and kiss him back. He gently pushes my back down on the couch and begins to hover over me. His lips return to mine causing me to slightly groan. I put my hand on the back of his neck deepening the kiss. I grip his hair lightly pulling causing him to gasp.

His phone vibrates and he pulls away from me checking to see what it is. He sighs and looks back up at me.

"You have to leave don't you?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"Yes, I told my mom I would take Sonny and his friend to wait in line for this new video game they're obsessing over. You are more than welcome to join..."

"As much as I would love to go hang out with freshmen boys I should stay here. I have a lot of school work to do."

"That's fine, I guess I should get going then." He says pressing one last kiss to my lips

"Tell me if you find out anything else about Halee and Connor."

"Oh don't worry I will. I'm dying to know what she's doing." I say causing him to laugh

"I love you Eden." He says blowing me a kiss

"I love you too." I say blowing one back

With that he closes the door and leaves me alone once again.

That's the end of chapter 20. I'm so so sorry the update took so long. I'm busy trying to do school, work, and be "social" somehow.
