--- In order to make up for the days I didn't do any updates, I'll be issuing 2-3 chapters as a sorry to those left behind with the cliffhanger from Chapter 3. ---

Keeping back, Artemis listened, as her boyfriend asked, fear in his voice, "That was normal? No human can have lightning like that. I need to know...what was that? Why was I vibrating? I'm human." Barry, with his Flash cowl removed, so Wally wouldn't be overwhelmed, took a seat on the bed, and calmly told his nephew about the accident which made the young adult ginger, Kid Flash originally in the first place, when he was ten. Barry told Wally about the speed, and told him he was once his young protégée, and was on a team of young heroes, which Artemis and Dick were a part of. He then slowly told the ginger, that when he 'died' from the chrysalis energy, trying to save the world, he got faster in a Speedforce, and was found by a member of the Team he was once on. When he finished, the young ginger just looked shocked. He said, slowly piecing together what he had heard so far, "So let me get this straight... I have this superspeed, and you have superspeed too? I died, and came back, and I don't know anyone? I used to be your sidekick, and Blondie over here, was a member of the team I was on, just like Nightwing? Who else was on the team? There had to be more than just three members, right?" Artemis stepped in, and replied, "Yeah, there were more of us than just you, I, and Nightwing. We had Martian Manhunter's niece, Miss Martian, or M'gann M'orzz. There was also Superman's clone 'son', Superboy, also known as Conner Kent. Finally Aqualad, or Kaldur to us all in private. We were a good team, and took down the villains many times, all on our own." Wally sent Artemis a death glare, and asked, "Did I ask you for that answer?" When the blonde didn't answer, the ginger simply huffed, "Pfft, didn't think so." Artemis' eyes widened with surprise from the sudden act of hotheadedness that her boyfriend had just shown. She gasped, "Wally, where'd that come from? The boyfriend I know would never do that!" The ginger sneered harshly, from the bed, "Let me get some things straight with you. One, I don't know you at all, Blondie. Two, we are not dating and you are not my girlfriend! Three, I have no clue what is going on, so just get out of my room, before I call what's-his-name to make you leave. And four, don't you dare come talking to me again, got it, Princess?" Flash gently put his hand on Wally, and told Artemis, "It might be best if you leave and come back later. I really don't know what's wrong. We may have to have Martian Manhunter go in his mind, to find out what happened." Wally screamed, throwing Flash's hand off in the process, "NO!!! I DON'T WANT ANYONE NEAR ME OR IN MY MIND!!! JUST GET OUT, ALL OF YOU. NOW!!!!!!" Artemis backed up slowly, and exited the room, running for her room. Upon arriving, she slammed the door, and stomped over to her bed, filled with fury and hate. She knew she shouldn't have reacted like she had, but the Wally in that room, was not the one that had left in the first place. This one was angry, filled with vile words, and had no respect for other's concern. This Wally didn't know anyone, and refused people who wanted to help him! Artemis heard a knock at the door, and called, "Come in." Flash entered, and asked, "Are you alright, Artemis? You seemed really worried about Wally's reaction to the truth." Artemis stuttered, "It was all my fault. I shouldn't have forced any of that down on him, especially since he doesn't know me. Maybe if I had saved him, or stopped him from going with you and Bart, nothing would be as bad as it is now." Flash replied, taking a seat next to the blonde, "Listen, it's not your fault, nor is it his fault. Wally just lost every memory he ever had. He doesn't remember that you two were a power couple. When he disappeared, he knew where he was going. That's why he told me to tell you that he loved you. He wasn't sure what was going to happen, but he wanted that to be the last thing you heard from him. He wanted you to know how much he cared for you. I know that hasn't changed, even if his personality is off. He just needs to be reminded that you two are for each other." Artemis cried, "But you heard him in there! He wants nothing to do with me, and he doesn't want me around. It's almost like the Wally I know is lost and gone, and what's left, is the shell of hard anger. I want to help, but I'm not sure how to." Flash stood up, and answered, "Try talking to him calmly. Show him the Watchtower. Introduce him to people. Do what you would do for a new member. Listen to him. Help him remember. Be the calm voice that he should know, and do what you know is best, but don't make him feel pushed. If he gets arrogant, unruly, or just angry at anyone, get one of us, and we can help. Otherwise, just be there for him. He needs a friend right now, more than a love interest. Be one." Artemis sighed, "Alright. Do you really think I can help him get his memory back?" Flash answered, "Truth be told, I don't think he will get his old memories back, if he keeps refusing Martian Manhunter's help." The speedster stretched his legs real quick, and zoomed out of the room, in the blink of an eye, leaving Artemis still struggling for answers. Gingerly, the blonde stood up and went over to the door. She opened it, and slowly walked back to the room Wally was in, trying to keep everything calm about her, in case her Wally had another weird ginger fit or issue with her. When she arrived, she heard Nightwing in the room, talking to the ginger in the bed. Leaning up against the door, she listened, and heard laughing and playful banter like it used to be between the two boys.
