WN: It's like really early for me, where I am, so despite thinking about posting this part tomorrow, I thought I'd do it tonight, cause I have time! Hope you like it, cause I had fun bringing Cheshire/Jade and even Red Arrow/Roy's clone, into the story.
After Artemis shooed off both Flash and Bart, the blonde whipped out her cell, and dialed a number on her speed dial. Putting the phone to her ear, she counted the rings of the other line, and soon heard the other end pick up. The person Artemis called, asked, "Why are you calling? It's the middle of the night, Artemis." The blonde replied, "I know it's late, Jade, but I need your help. It's about Wally. He's crazy, and won't stop to listen to me." Jade sighed, then answered, "You do realize Red Arrow is sleeping beside me, right? And did I mention you called in the middle of the night? You easily could have woken up your niece, with this stupid call." "Jade! Listen to me. Red Arrow's important to you, right? Well, Wally is important to me. I need help, and if you don't, I'll sync this call with his phone, as well as any other person's phone in our family tree, and believe me, you do not want me to do that. Our family is a group of assassins. What will they all say, when I told them I called them, because you weren't loyal to the family assassin code?" A few minutes of silence came over the line, but finally, Jade asked, "What can I do?" Artemis answered, "First, you can get out of bed, and get over to the outskirts of the Seattle Psychological Hospital, and meet me, dressed in full attire and gear, outside the huge warehouse. Oh, and bring a shovel. There's going to be snow. A lot of snow." Jade replied simply, "I'll be there soon, sis, even if it is three in the morning." The line went dead, and Artemis removed the phone, found the next contact, and tapped on the number, setting it to dial. When the owner picked up, Artemis said, "Nightwing, I'm glad you're up. Listen, I need some help. Wally's psychotic again, and he needs help. Flash told me, you told him about the kiss, and I know you have to be tough, even though it's difficult. Just hear me out." The dark Bird replied, "So he told you that, huh... Well, if Psycho Wally is dangerous, and you need help, I guess I can get down there, to be of some aid." Artemis grinned widely, then excitedly answered, "Great! We're all at the Seattle Psychological Hospital, in the huge warehouse. Oh, and when you come, bring the original team. They may be of some help, especially M'gann's telepathy and mind link between us. If she sets one up, Wally won't know what happened, and he'll be unable to interfere with the link, since he's who we are trying to help. I'll send the rest of the details to you, via my cell, when the line drops. Further instructions will be told, when the rest of the equipment arrives. Just get the team to where I am, alright?" Nightwing answered, "Alright. I'll get the others, then we'll be on our way. Artemis, be careful. The last time one of us turned, you faked your death. I don't want to arrive, and have it actually happen, especially at the hand of your boyfriend." The blonde replied, "I'll be careful, Nightwing. Right now I've found a spot to wait, and am waiting for Flash and Kid Flash II to get back here with the piece of the equipment I need, to stop the renegade and rogue speedster." Hearing a confirmed "Mhm..." from Nightwing, the call ended, and Artemis put away her phone. Listening, she heard the sound of rushing wind nearby, and peeked out of the warehouse, where she was. She saw Wally, trembling, but bold. She noticed that he was vibrating even faster, than he had before, when they first encountered each other! Before Artemis could revert back to her safety zone though, Wally saw her. He sent a deathlike glare towards her, and the blonde had no choice, but to come out fully. She said, emerging in full, "You told me you loved me. You told me I had nothing to prove to you. You told me we were together, Wally. I just want you home. Please, let me help you come home. Home to me. Everyone misses you. I love you so much it hurts to see you in this amount of mental distress. I need you, Wallace Rudolph West, even if you don't see it now." Artemis drew closer to the speedster with blue lightning sparking around him, and for once, he didn't move. He only stared at her, and said, "You wouldn't want me now." Artemis dug deeper, "But I do, Walls. I don't care how fast you go, or who you are in the mentally intelligent department, but I just want my boyfriend back. Remember what you told me Kent Nelson said to you? He said, 'Find your own little spitfire. One who won't let you get away with nothing.' Well, I'm your spitfire, and I'm not letting you get away with this in any way." Moving even closer, up to his body, Artemis slid a hand carefully on Wally's arm, and reached up, giving him a deep, loving kiss. The kiss drew more lightning to the source, and the speedster just stood calmly, as if it were normal for him to be receiving the action, with his new, better speed. When Artemis finished kissing, she stepped back and looked up at Wally, seeing his eyes shut and his body shaking violently. His hands were clenched into fists, and he seemed to be fighting some inner beast, that had ravaged his mind. Artemis encouraged, "Fight the darkness. Please, fight it. Resist it. Don't let it control you; you control it. Come on, Walls, you've got to fight like never before, for me and for you. You can control your powers, I know and I've seen it." The blonde turned, and saw Flash holding the ice gun, as well as Bart, standing beside him, his eyes wide. She also saw Nightwing and the team, all standing behind the speedsters, looking on with fear. M'gann seemed the most frightened, and was clutching Conner's arm, like a tree. Finally, after minutes of silence, the blue lightning around Wally and Artemis stopped, and disappeared. Artemis looked up, and watched her boyfriend blink rapidly a few times. The blinking stopped, and Wally asked, "Artemis? Flash? Nightwing? What happened? Why am I here? The last thing I remember was being taken into the Speedforce by the kinetic energy, when we were trying to shutdown all the MFDs." Looking at both Conner and M'gann, who were still holding each other close, Wally asked, "Since when did M'gann and Conner get back together? Last I remembered, they weren't together." Whoops and hollers rose from Bart and M'gann, as Nightwing stepped up, and gave Wally a bro hug. Artemis said, "You've got it all back, Wally. Your memory is back!" The speedster looked concerned, then nodded, giving a wide smile and laughing. Jade stepped out of the shadows close by, a shovel in hand, and she asked slyly, "Did I miss the reunion, Artemis? Seems like you got this whole thing handled. Why'd you call me anyway, if you got things taken care of?" Suddenly Red Arrow flew in from atop the building, and when he saw Wally alive and well, he walked up, and gave him a handshake, as a return gift, despite not being the real Roy Harper. Artemis smiled, knowing that things were so much better, now that her boyfriend was back to himself, but she still hoped things would get even better, and they did, when it came to the future of the Flash insignia, and its meaning.
