yoongi had finally jumped down from hoseok's back when they were only a few feet from the music room, yoongi complaining about his legs being stiff and hoseok complaining about his back. jimin listened to the duo bicker the entire walk―or in yoongi's case, ride―to the class. deep inside, jimin's heart burned with jealousy. he wanted a friendship like yoongi and hoseok's, one where they could loosely insult and cling to each other without someone getting offended.

"mr. jung and mr. min, how do you manage to be," the teacher stopped talking momentarily and looked at his watch, letting out a heavy sigh before looking at the two students, not yet taking notice of the small brunette standing beside hoseok. "twenty minutes late every single day?"

"we have important business to take care of, mr. park." yoongi spoke without hesitation and grasped hoseok's hand, holding up their intertwined fingers to the teacher. "if you know what i mean."

"just..." the teacher sighed, "sit down and leave me alone."

jimin's eyes widened.

"now, you." mr. park turned to meet eyes with jimin, who bowed and gave a kind smile. "you're my new student, park jimin, correct?"

"yes, sir." jimin nods.

the teacher nods, "well, today is a free day so you can do whatever you want, i suppose."

"oh, okay." jimin answered, walking away and letting his eyes scan the rows of students before he found his two new friends―if that's what they were considered, that is, in the corner of the stands. hoseok was lightly bouncing yoongi on his knee, the black-haired male resembling a baby. he walked toward them, mentally praying that he didn't trip on the steps of the bleachers, apologizing to anyone he bumped into.

"oh, hi jimin!" hoseok beamed. jimin gave him a shy smile as he sat down. jimin sat with his back facing the teacher, eyeing the duo in front of him.

"hi, hoseok. hi, hyung." jimin greets, running a hand through his soft brown locks.

"so, jiminie." yoongi began, leaning forward and getting a displeased grunt from hoseok. "have you seen any cute guys yet?"

"hyung, you can't just assume he's gay, or likes boys in a non-friendly way." hoseok snorts, looking over yoongi's shoulder at jimin, who seemed unbothered. "i'm sorry, jimin. he's a bit..."

"it's cool," jimin shrugged, "i'm gay, so he did get his assumption right. but to answer your question, yes, i have seen someone really cute so far."

yoongi gasped and his eyes got wide, "who is it?!"

"taehyung, i think his last name is kim? we sit next to each other in math." jimin blushed light, seeing the bright smile on yoongi's face.

hoseok's eyes widened at the name that left the brunette's mouth. kim taehyung, other than being hoseok's sworn enemy, was possibly the worst person to get involved with.

"kim taehyung?" yoongi asked, "he's cute. but he's a really shitty person."

"why? what has he done?"

"i thinks it's better that you don't know what he's done." hoseok butts in, continuing to peer at jimin over yoongi's shoulder.

"i agree." yoongi says, sitting back against hoseok's chest.

"okay, i guess." jimin said, chewing on the inside of his cheek and staring down at his hands.
