"hoseok––" jimin whines uncomfortably, shifting his body. hoseok only grumbles under his breath and pulls jimin closer. "it hurts, stop."
"i'm trying to bandage your hand, jimin." hoseok answers. after he had congratulated jimin on turning the notes in, he then proceeded to yell at the blonde and now jimin was pinned between hoseok and the counter whilst hoseok wrapped his bruised hand in gauze. it was tight –– too tight, but hoseok was only blocking out jimin's complaints.
"it's just bruises, hobi." jimin pouts, swinging his legs back and forth. hoseok sighed and dropped jimin's hand, setting the gauze on the counter behind him. the orange haired male runs his fingers through jimin's hair, his heart melting at the way jimin's lips looked even more kissable. he wanted to -- so bad, but he knows it would do everything but please jimin. "they'll go away soon."
"i don't like seeing you hurt, jiminie." hoseok mumbles. "your pretty skin should stay clear, no bruises and definitely no scratches."
"well, you'll have to deal with it 'cause i'm clumsy." jimin giggles cutely, his previous pouty expression long gone. hoseok moves back and raises an eyebrow at that.
"you don't seem like you are." he says, leaning on the kitchen island behind him and crossing his arms over his chest. jimin felt chills run through his body when he caught a glimpse of the way hoseok's muscles strained in his thin shirt. hoseok continued talking, jimin's staring going unnoticed. "i've known you for a few months now, i've only seen you fall once or twice."
jimin stays silent for a moment. he speaks up, running a hand through his hair. he cutely scrunches his face up at the slightly greasy feeling, making him cringe. "why do you think our tables have such rounded edges? my knees did that, seok. i've hit them on the corners of tables so much that the just... rounded."
hoseok can't stop the snort that leaves him because of what jimin had said. he steps forward and teasingly pinches jimin's cheek, cooing at him. "what a clumsy baby."
jimin kicks hoseok with his best effort from where he was sitting happily on the counter top -- which, really, hadn't helped much as he was two inches shorter than hoseok. he whines and huffs loudly and childishly, "don't tease me!"
"you're being whiney today." hoseok comments.
"i'm whiney everyday." jimin deadpans. he hops off the counter and walks toward the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. "why are you just noticing?"
hoseok snickers, "more so today than normal."
"well," jimin begins. he shakes the overly bandaged hand, as if to prove a point. "if i didn't have an entire roll of gauze on my hand, i wouldn't be as whiney."
"oh shut up."
