Hungary was shaken, to say the least. "I don't want to see how bad their next life could be..." Ukraine sat beside her, arms holding her waist. "I hope the next one's happier..."

Greenland took a deep breath before handing the remote to Orlando. "You play it. I can't do it." Greenland's ocean blue eyes were watery as she spoke. Orlando held eye contact with her, purple to blue. "Okay..."

She pressed play.

It was a warm spring morning.

The birds of the forest were chirping.

All was peaceful in the world.

"GILBERT!" "Arthur! Your robe!" "Stay still, Gino!" "AIYAA! Stop it, already!" "Vlad~ Let's go play~" "Where's Puffin?!" "Berwald!!! I'm BORED!" "The forest is lovely today~"

Ah, the peacefulness with one's family...

/

The Shira Forest is home to winged beings.

They are not angels or demons, for their lifespan is so much like a human's.

/

A brown haired boy leapt up into the sky, trying to take flight. "If only these stupid wings weren't so useless..." he sighed, folding his small light orange wings. "Don't say that, Feli!" A young boy with blond hair landed next to him, lovely dark green wings stretching before folding against his back.

The brunette looked at his friend, hazel brown eyes meeting with sea green ones. "I can't fly with them, Feliks..." "Just wait! One day, you'll be the greatest flier in the whole forest!"

The brunette just gave him a wry look. "We should head home."

A young girl sat on the steps of a castle. She was tying her long black hair into a ponytail. Her dark purple wings spread out onto the marble floor behind her. "Phuong! Can we practice aerobatics again?" The voice came from the hallways.

"Only if you promise not to rush things, Seamus!" She answered with a chuckle, chocolate brown eyes closing in contentment once she was done with her ponytail. She stood and turned the moment she heard a crash. "You okay?"

A blond haired boy looked at her from his position on the ground. He gave her a sheepish smile, light green eyes staring at the edge of her robe. His light blue wings were sprawled on his sides. "I'm fine~" he eagerly stood up, wings clumsily tucking against his back.

Phuong laughed at his attitude. "If you keep that up, Peter will be racing in the sky before you ever perform somersaults!" He pouted at the words, arms crossing over his chest.

"Arthur's never going to do them then!" "He's actually better at it than you are~" Seamus stuck his tongue at her.

"Real mature." A sarcastic voice reached their ears. Seamus looked up and pouted at the newcomer. "Will~ Don't side with her~" he whined as he looked over to the newcomer. The boy looked like him.

"She has a point, though." Seamus stomped a foot before turning the other way. "William's so mean to me!" He cried. William smiled fondly before moving closer to Seamus. He wrapped his light brown wings around the pouting child.

"You're cute, you know?" Seamus relaxed in his embrace. "Aw~ you guys are so precious~" Feliks cooed as he landed on the frontyard. The brunette was walking at a steady pace behind him. "Feliciano! Let's do our best today, as always!" Seamus greeted the brunette with a large smile.

"They look cute with wings." Greece stated as he focused on the scene. "Yeah. The wings suit 'em." Turkey readily agreed, mentally imagining the other with wings... and cat features...

North Vietnam leant against Taiwan, whose left arm wrapped around her shoulders. "They do look cute~" Taiwan giggled. North Vietnam couldn't help but smile at her voice and at the scene.

"I'm playing it again." Germany said.

That Night

Feliciano lay on his large bed, wings spread as wide as possible. "Feli?" He looked at the door where a blond haired child peaked inside the room. "You okay?" The blond asked as he stepped in, gently closing the door.

"Fine. Just a bit frustrated." The blond sat beside him, wings stretching a bit. (They had the same color as the nighttime sky.) Emerald green eyes studied the brunette before the blond lay on his side, facing the other. He carefully wrapped his arms and one of his wings around the brunette.

"If you want, you could practice with me. We're both still learning..."

"You can do somersaults."

"You could, too. With enough practice."

It was silent after that, the brunette contemplating on what to say. He met the blond's gaze. "You'll teach me?" "Of course."

"I can't wait to see Russia, now. I imagine his wings would be dark violet or dark blue." Ukraine sighed. Hungary nodded along with the words, trying to figure out what colors Austria's and Prussia's wings would be.

Liechtenstein was already picturing her brother with wings. Belarus watched her expressions simultaneously change from disappointment to excitement.

It made Belarus smile.

America had tears in his eyes. "Why have I never considered them close?!" Scotland wore a small smile as America hugged him tightly. "They actually look cute together..."

"William and Seamus are cute, too." Ireland added to the statement.

Germany groaned, prompting Ireland to look at him with worry. "World Wars. He at least tried to defend himself... unless he was fighting England..."

All the countries were shocked for many reasons.

"It's late. Let's continue this tomorrow, yes?" Spain suggested as he saw Romano trying to fight sleep. "I agree, amour." France nodded as he spoke.

Belgium nudged Romano awake so they could go to their room. Netherlands helped Australia detach his koala from the plant in the corner of the room before they, too, left. Greenland and Orlando had fallen asleep on the couch, laying beside each other.

France helped Spain up so they could go to bed and sleep. Scotland almost had to physically drag America. Egypt asked Canada if they could share a room. He did not want to see the more intimate sides of his 'brothers'.

Belarus held Liechtenstein's hand as they went back to their room. Ukraine and Hungary locked arms as they walked to their own room.

Wy was escorted by Hutt River, who had pulled her to his room after he took a peak into her own room (which she shared with Australia and Netherlands). Latvia held Moldova tightly as he slept.

The countries each had a more positive outlook about the second lifetime.
